CIS and REP side editing help?

So I wanna like edit the rep and cis sides cuz I want a custom team.  I don't wanna do much (or is it) cuz its basically the same sides just with the gungan replacing the republic pilot, and the geonosian replacing the droid pilot.  Also wanna them to be able to take more hits and have the sonic blaster deal a little more damage.  Is that particularly hard and something I can do on my own?  I'm a simple person and i'm about as good as dragging and dropping files.

Just to check--this is for SWBF1?

It is not too difficult.  There is some software to download and you will need to edit some text files.  We can walk you through it, or maybe even make it for you.

Oh that's awfully nice of you.  I would love to try to do it myself if you are willing to hold my hand.  If I end up giving up cuz I'm too simple minded then I would prob ask you to do it for me LOL. So I will download this stuff and you can guide me
