just as it say i get this message.

I think you got that message because executable cannot find the extension file binkw32.dll. This file should be in the folder where you installed SWBF1 (I mean to the LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront directory).

Even so, it's strange that you didn't have this file installed with the rest. Is your version of SWBF1 original?

Anyway, try to reinstall the game. And if your version doesn't include installer, try downloading the binkw32.dll file.

No need to reinstall, just put the patch in the correct place.

Many people have had this error, and it is always because the patch is in the wrong place.  It goes here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData

Also, make sure you are using the patch for SWBF1 and it is already updated to the 1.2 version.

If you are trying to play SWBF2, then let us know and we have a different patch and a different forum board for that game.

Excuse me then. I thought it could be related to your issue... :P

Then it will be what Led has said.

By what I see in the 2 images you have attached, you are executing the file in the desktop (Battlefront SWBFSpy.exe), and what you are meant to do is to move this file to the gamedata folder from the second picture. Then, and only then, you are to run it.
