The Sign up thread (//http://www.thisiswar.co.uk/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?1653) is up for you guys to sign up for next weeks match!  The deadline is Thursday (I'll close the thread on Friday).  Remember that if you are one of the first three sign ups you can pick a map to be included in the draw, and this choice rolls down hill if someone above you in the thread hasn't chosen one!  The rules etc are all there on the site should you want/need to read them!

There is also a map pool thread (//http://www.thisiswar.co.uk/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?1645) there to discuss what maps we want to be included in the draws...please have your say!

If you are new to the ThisisWar site I will need to set the permissions for you so that you can post in the MPC league section of the forum.  Please post here if that is the case and Ive not given you access yet!  Master Zen you're good to go!

I signed up, but what is the IP?

we don't know that yet, the host (should be the_pi this week) will post before the match!  If I'm hosting I have a dynamic IP so it changes every time I restart my router so I wont know till the day! Just have a look at this thread or the match thread (will be posted after the draw takes place) on the TiW site on Sunday before the match!

So it's sunday at 8 EST, right? And the IP is TBD.

don't think I can do the draw, I'll be at the game though (assuming I'm picked).

The_Pi will be hosting and will post the IP of the server before the match!  

The_Pi: please remember to add a map before the lobby and set the server to 8 AI players per team and set the min players to start to 6 (2 below the actual).  Any questions/issues please post asap! Thanks and good luck all!

I was wondering if you can merge the TiW League with the MPCG League. I mean, we've all faced each other all the time so having new playerswould make things a bit more fresh! Plus, bigger matches are always better.

Just a suggestion.

The time diff is the big prob here Thomas.  All of the TiW Sunday league have work the next morning and some have a real early start!  I was hoping we could get together every now and then for 'special' matches!

Khyler:  From what I heard on vent you were intentionally teamkilling, you're comments on vent and scores seem to support this.  This league is about having fun and it isn't much fun for the players trying their best to do well when you disturb play and bring you're teammates scores down!

I doubt you have read the rules...here is the appropriate section:

I also want to apologise on behalf of the league players for some of the language on the vent server (sorry HC).  I know how frustrating it gets sometimes when trying to deal with ppl being damaging to the match but we need to try to rise above it!

I think we will need to tighten things up rules and organisation wise for the league...I'll get back to everyone about it!  I'll post again when I have updated the scores!

Yea, kind of a free for all last night. I apologize for that, I posted the IP in a GR room. Should have PMed people about it instead. I will try to get the GR people to register ahead of time if they want to play.

It was a fun game, though.

No problem Rhino. It's OK for a couple unregistered to join at the last minute. Like I said, my bad for posting the IP to everyone in the Game Ranger room. I'm old but I can still learn from my mistakes.

Don't necessarily need to worry too much about signing up Rhino. Signing up the match just helps with arranging teams and lets everyone know who is intending to play etc...I find that if ppl dont sign up they dont turn up! Also it encourages others to join in when they see others are going to be playing!

The scores have been updated!  All the new players please remember that you need to have a min of 4 scoring rounds (it's only the best 2 from last night that go towards the table) so your points will be 0 unless you have played 2 matches (4 league scored rounds) but your other averages will be posted!

For the ppl without 4 rounds under their belt here's what your scores are so far (in no particular order):
