how can i make a unit bigger i want to make a stage 3 dark trooper and wanted to know if there was a way to just make the basic one twice as big.
i think its possible....look at that wampa in the wampa beta
umm wampa beta??
o wait...that was talking about SWBF I not 2 but you also have the wampa in SWBF II
Think its this one: http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/ObiWa_vs_Wampas;56009 (http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/ObiWa_vs_Wampas;56009)
ummm i am not quite sure how this helps me there are no assests??
You can use the MSH Option scale technique
Go into your unit's OPTION file and put this in:
-scale 1.0
Fiddle around with that number until you get desired results
wich option file i found them but do i change
imp_inf_darktrooper.tga
imp_inf_darktrooper.msh
or a different one ??
There's a larger dark trooper phase III in a map called Sraiden. Just look around on filefront. You could ask the owner or something :)
oh ok thx i found a tut thogh but cant understand part of it
I have Dark trooper PhaSe III too but when i add into my map the map crash.so if someone get it to work pls explaine how we can do it too. ;)
Does this Scale thing work in SWBF1?
Arr, I've actually seen those Giant Wampas on Xfire videos. T'was extremely cool. They was so big dat dey couldn't 'ardly 'it da units around them. I should get SWBF2 up and running just so dat I can play dat mod

It does, for weapons. I placed republic commando guns and they were both huge and one was small. Later I noticed a option file with scale in it and expiermented with it. Breakdowns' post here would have been usefull if timming was better for me. I tried it for a troop and it didn't work for me, but I gave up quickly.
So it works for weapons but not units?

It works for units.
I looked in the msh.option file of a clone pilot and I didn't see anything about a Scale

Probably because it asn't scaled, therefore it didn't need to have that included.
so if I put Scale = 9.0
-lodgroup soldier -nocollision -Scale = 9.0
it would be huge?
Ok Snake,
In SWBF1, to scale a model you make a .option file.
So for the SBD, it's named cis_inf_bdroid.msh.
The option file is named cis_inf_bdroid.msh.option
So open the .option file and add this parameter:
-scale 2.0
Save it.
That's all there is to it.
---------------------------
It's self explanatory, you've scaled the model twice the size. Try it out if you'd like and if you have other questions you can report back.
Well that's exactly what I just said...Well thanks for confirming. ;) lol
Not quite, you've said -scale = 9.0
It's just -scale 9.0
But you've gotten the idea.
Oh yeah I saw the difference after I posted and forgot to edit. Thanks AG! It looks hilarious, I made the Darktrooper -scale 30.0 omg it is so funny. I have to use freecam just to see haha. Ok I think I'm sorta getting off topic so thanks alot!
I have a big unit.
I made it bigger with Extenze.
