To whom it may concern,

SWBFC is going to be hosting a seasonal conquest ladder for Star Wars Battle Front II on PC. The ladder will be similar to a sport season, you will have the regular season then at the end of the regular season teams will qualify for the playoffs and it will end with a season champion. Each season will last up to 3 months. Here are some additional details:

Server Setup:

1. CTF 3 flags.
2. 250 Conquest Tickets.
3. 15 minute Timer.
4. Team Killing "ON".
5. 60 Second warm-up Timer.

Rules:

1. No Glitching/Vehicles/Turrets.
2. Special classes on.
3. GCW only unless both teams agree on CW.
4. Class restrictions "OFF" (you can have multiple people as the same class)
5. No jumping warm-up timer.
6. Minimum of 3vs3.

Map Pool # 1:

1. Tatooine Conquest
2. Mustafar Conquest
3. Naboo Conquest
4. Utapau CTF
5. Dagobah CTF
6. Jabba's Palace CTF

Map Rules:

1. Each team will veto one map. (4 maps left)
2. Each team will choose one map and the faction they play on that map. (2 maps left)
3. If they tie the maps 1-1 the lower ranked team will veto one of the two remaining maps and the higher ranked team will pick their faction on the last remaining map. ( 1 map left after the tiebreaker veto)

Note: The map pool changes every month. (There are 3 map pool changes in every season)

Ladder Point System:

1. If a team wins 2-1 the winning team will be awarded 3 points and the losing team will be awarded 0.
2. If a team wins 2-0 the winning team will be awarded 3 points and the losing team will be awarded -1.

I'm glad the SWBFII community is finally waking up to some better days, even though it just doesn't support a community quite as user interface friendly as SWBFI did/still does.

Good to hear! We need more teams. If we get around 10 loyal teams there "might" be a cash prize, if not there will be one for PC Season 2. Also note that the map pool will change on the 28th. There will be 6 different maps that will be played for the month of March. It's also better to join asap, if you join late in the season it might be harder to gather enough points to qualify for the playoffs!

How is it subjective exactly? I find it unlikely he is paying a company money for a server that lags a lot. There are plenty of options in the world of server hosting in the US; if the server was lagging he could and probably would switch hosts. Now since he is in the US and presumably the server is there as well it will indeed lag for you since you are far away from it.

I only said that so players don't think matches are played in servers that are hosted from someones basement. Yes it will lag for any European who plays in the league. But this is a American league, Europeans are free to play in SWBFC, but you will have to work with the American servers and American timezones.
