Hi guys, it's a long time I wished to start a project like this. I'm planning to make a mod including TCW series content (it's supposed to be legal now i think) and bringing up all the things we fans of the series loved about the TV show. Its structure would be similar to BFX including a working Galactic Conquest mode, a new era (i'll need a lot of help with that) and new maps.
Those are the units i planned to include until now:
GAR units:

weapons: DC-15 carbine, DC-17 pistol, Meele Attack, Thermal Detonator;
description: basic trooper equipped with a fast shooting but short range carbine.
- Assault Clonetrooper
weapons: DC-15a, RPS-6 rocket launcher, Meele Attack, EMP Grenade;
description: heavy trooper equipped with a slow shooting but long range rifle.

I need to use this on a complete different trooper .msh so i don't know how can I do this except using an addon.

I'm still a newbie with XSI and ZE tools, so since i downloaded a bunch of models and i don't want to bother anyone asking to covert them for me can you please tell me how i can do? I read something on the forum but I still don't know a thing. I would apreciate a lot if you give me a very easy and clear tutorial on how to do this.
P.S. i tried to render a pre-rendered .msh but XSI crashed telling me the material was wrong. There's another program i can use out there?

Hi guys, I was trying to improve the skins of Gistech Improved Stormtroopers- sorry for the bad pun - and that's the poor result. Actually I worked only on the helmet, since I kinda dislike the vanilla stormtrooper skin. This skinpack includes:
- Stormtrooper
- Shocktrooper
- Sandtrooper

I'm going to make a 501st commander skin, too. I'll release it as soon as possible.

HOW TO USE

Hi guys, this is my first skinpack, so please be nice if there are some shitty parts. I made these very simple TCW skins using some Gistech's models, but they can be used on other msh files as well.

NOTES

I was exporting the .msh, selected the dummy root, but when i click export this error pops out:
"Encountered an error while exporting, copy error to clipboard?"

this shows up in the clipboard:
AttributeError: Application.CGA_GetPolyIndicesPerMaterial
    :'(  please help!

Hi guys, since my pc can't handle softimage mod tools for strange reasons i'm asking you to make this simple thing: take the jetpack from the jump trooper model and put it on the magma trooper and the sand trooper. I'm asking you this because ggtuk forgot to edit those models and i dunno how to do this. I'm gonna put you in the credits if you do, for now i thank for any future reply. sorry for bad english  :tu:

How can I have different units in different maps? I know it has to do with the mission.lvl script but i don't know how to edit it. And how can I change the names of units and weapons in game? Tnx for any future reply!  ;)

 I reinstalled the game from scratch and i don't know why when i play the gcw missions the only unit avaible for the empire is the dark trooper :o
I've patched the game to the v 1.3 but it didn't work... Help me please!! :'(

Munging stops here, i don't know why. The last thing i did was putting an HD JKA Darth Vader model in the msh folder... :ohmy:

imp_inf_darthvader_low1 has 497 vertices and no collision geometry - using normal geometry
... Exporting hard skinned
_ReduceShadowMesh: reduced edge count from 1386 to 1384
_CreateShadowMesh(lod:0): created hires shadow (233 verts 1384 edges)

Hi guys! I'm having this annoying issue with the T-21 blaster models: basically the trooper holds it like this.

for some strange reasons the model is placed in a wrong way. Can someone fix it? This is the original file by t551

Oh and could you upload a DLT-19 rifle model?
