Title: Guide to Using Zero Editor
Post by: SleepKiller on May 30, 2012, 08:18:41 PM
Here is my video series on how to use Zeroeditor and make maps. I do have 2 other parts filmed and a fourth one was attempted to be filmed but for some reason only the audio survived. So it will be refilmed. Expect the other two (Or maybe 3) to be live in a couple of days.

Best viewed at 720p full screen.

Part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD_e3-dgbCU) -- Teaches project creation, Zero Editor controls and Object placement.

Part 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmslOI9vqOk) -- Teaches AI pathing and painting textures on the terrain.

Perhaps we could have a SWBF gamers YT account where we can put tutorials? I've been wanting to do a series about skin editing.

This should be useful for newcomers, since I watched your old tuts when I got into ZE (too bad I had a falling out with the program).

I had that issue (well, I still do lol) in my normal PC and I was told it was cause of my graphics card (Nvidia)
In my gaming laptop I have AMD R9 290 TRI-X OC Graphics Card and it works fine (but it also works "properly" in my modding laptop which has a "shitty" graphics card by Intel lol)

Just found out why which may help you too ;)
I just chose it to Run as Administrator and it worked for me. Just a simple mistake I'd made

I also get that same thing when I open a new map for the first time, but it usually goes away the second time I open it. Doesn't really affect anything to my knowledge
