Congrats to Led and you all, I'm amazed that so many unique visitors have come ot the forum, I think the site is going up higher on google.

It really is amazing how much memory all of the downloads take, but it's a small sacrifice to make so we can let people download these awesome maps for fun

Hello creative people of swbfgamers,

I have a simple request to make.

I'd like a Holiday-themed avatar. I want the picture to be a Droideka with a santa hat on, and maybe some snow in the background/foreground.

Thanks.

Very wise words.

I may also add:
girls=can kill

Seriosly, automatic weapons or not, is dosn't matter. If the owner is normal person, everything be ok, if psycho - get ready for trouble... So, it's maybe have sense, to make people, do some psychological tests, before give them license for gun ownership.
The thing is though, automatic weapons have no other purpose than killing a lot of people. There's no reason why a semi-automatic handgun, and an automatic rifle should be available for purchase by a normal citizen.

Star Wars Battlefront (2004 Original) / Re: More Gamespy
December 14, 2012, 09:37:53 PM
I think this was hinted at from the beginning, on Facebook, Gamespy mentioned that Lucasarts had stopped supporting SWBF, and that could be taken to mean Lucasarts just stopped paying their service fee to Gamespy. Whether Lucasarts stopped paying the fee recently, after their acquisition by Disney, can't be known, but that still remains a possibility.

This kind of thing is appaling. No wonder the myans thought the world was going to end. I bet this didnt happen in rome/greece/[insert ancient civilization here].
Who could even do such a thing?
People have always been violent, and horrible atrocities have been committed in the past. There is a new disturbing trend of shootings in America, and I think this is related to mental illness and how we treat these illnesses in our country.

This shooting is absolutely terrible and unprecedented, and it has happened in the one place we thought was safe from killers.

I don't want to focus on the shooter right now, and I don't want to focus on gun control debates, I want everybody to remember how fragile life is and I want everybody to hold on a little tighter to the people you have in your lives, because you never know what can happen. I want people to remember the 20 kids who should have lived many more happy years with their families. I want people to remember the adults that tried their hardest to save the kids, only to die themselves.

My thoughts go out to the families of the victims of today's tragedy, and I hope that they find stability in their lives after this terrible incident.

If anybody is despairing at the loss of basic human decency in our society, remember that for every tragedy like this, ten thousand good deeds go unnoticed every day. There is still a lot of good in people, and people like this shooter are in the vast minority. There may be some systemic problems with gun violence and mental health going on, but in general I can still believe that people are inherently good. Even though it's hard to at times like these.

[FC] will participate.

I don't like the Maze map because Jets always sit on top and can easily guard the outer CPs from being captured, it seems too imbalanced IMO.

There are some cool mod maps that could be added but most important is to make sure they will work with dedicated hosting tools first.

Both coruscant maps should go, and maybe add naboo?

In past tournaments, Jets were banned from going on top of the maze. I highly doubt many people would go for jet to protect the base, since they would just get bored sitting at a CP all game. We could just ban Jets from this map, and that problem would be fixed.

I'd like to suggest having Maze as a map. Also, Mos Eisley.

Post screenshots of the map and the battles. Also, maybe a screen cap of the map layout. :tu:
