It's between mustafar and Jabba for me, both of them you can hold your ground with some good close combat but there's also some good paths for sneaky strategies.

Next choices would be coruscant and polis Massa.

Happy new year everyone, hope you all have a good one. I don't think any of us expected to still be playing battlefront for another decade.

Agreed, you can't beat Cloud City for variety of gameplay and I love that corridor. I like close quarters fights so I also like, Jabba, Mos Eisley and Citadel.

I'm probably biased after years of reading the expanded universe but overall although I liked the two JJ Abrams films (didn't like the last Jedi, I'm the opposite of critics apparently) I didn't think they were the best Star wars ones. They seemed to change too much for the sake of it... There was no Republic, Empire or regular locations like coruscant and they killed off the original cast. It just didn't seem Star warsy enough sometimes.

I still went to the first showings and enjoyed them though 😉

I won't say any spoilers until more people have seen it but despite a few issues I thought it was a great film and a nice end.

Yes, 2PC is for the battlefront 2 players who use swbfspy on pc. There's also players on the steam servers.

It's amazing there's still people playing after 15 years, I got the game for ps2 in 2005 I think then went online on pc for the last couple of years of gamespy when there were still a hundred players a night. I miss charging around cloud city with all the old players but still enjoy playing now.

Battlefront is one of my all time favourite games but it was also my first online game and it's the community that's kept me here as much as anything.

Best memories:
My first time online having a great time and trying to talk to people then realising it was actually an empty server and they were ai...

My actual first week online going between PLA cloudity, cpt cupbear, ooc arena and ententeich servers and realising how different it was to single player.

Starting to think I was good then seeing players like question mark and quiz with 100-0-10 scores.

Finally getting more than 100 kills on a full cloudcity server.

Endless new clans that lasted a week trying to recruit me.

The 1 PLA clan night I made it to.

Learning all the secret grenade jumps with Wabbit and Stewie.

Accidentally shooting a teammate off the balcony with a rocket from the other side of cloudcity then staying silent as he just typed 'how in the world?' and flew off the map. Sorry Nemisis.

Winning a game with 0-1 in the enemies favour by capturing command posts.

Mod map nights and the close matches in the ICW tournament.

And a hundred others I can't type at the moment.

S is the go to console unless you want a bit more performance then you want x. The 360 is last gen like the ps3 so that's out if you want to play new games.

All new games will run on the x and s so you won't miss out on any whichever way you go.

I've only got PS4 pro but from what I understand the s is the go to model now unless you want to spend a bit more for 4k graphics and 60fps then get the X, although even that you'll have to choose between frame rate or resolution in most games.

Whatever you get, make sure it's 1TB minimum storage, that's only 8-10 games installed now and I'm already deleting some from mine.

Firstly I would like to say that it really annoys me when you're in a server with several players and one person says 'who wants to go to another server' or 'let's have a 2on2'. I know it's selfish of me but full servers are so rare I hate it when a good game gets broken up. I know that's not the issue here, I just wanted to get it off my chest. ;)

Back on topic... Personally I don't mind if there's a good game in one server and someone comes to your server and asks you to join. Sometimes you haven't noticed a fuller server and I'll usually pick player numbers over a specific server. Except cloudcity - that's the best...

Having said that, I only need to be asked once and I can understand why people don't want to be asked to leave their favourite server so a bit of restraint is needed sometimes.

My vague analogy is that if someone's alone in a restaurant it's nice to invite them to another one but if they're sitting down enjoying themselves don't keep asking them to leave when the staff have made them a lovely... Um.. Meal.

In short I'm tired and making no sense but we're extremely lucky to have so many servers and people supporting them for such an old game so lets just appreciate what we've got and play together, wherever that might be.

Don't worry about it, some people just go round disliking everything out of jealousy/spite. They probably don't even look at what they're clicking on. I sent you a pm by the way.
