Massive St Louis Cardinals fan here. Looks like they're in October mode (finally), I'm super nervous about the winner-take-all wild card game though.

I don't know how closely any of you follow St Louis, but after Furcal was injured they called up Pete Kozma from AAA. Kozma went to my High School (3 or 4 yrs ahead of me)! He's risen to the occasion admirably and who knows, he could be the starting St Louis SS for good once Furcal retires.

I think a St. Lous-San Francisco NLCS is quite possible if the Giants defeat the Reds--Atlanta appears beatable in the one-game-set and Washington has slowed its once impressive pace.
