so I have a problem,
when installing this version of the 1.3 patch https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-b ... patch-r130, when I'm using the default Battlefront2.exe, I can join the Steam servers and everything works, but when using the SWBF2Spy.exe, the serverlist is blank.
When installing this 1.3 patch: https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-b ... -129-final and using Battlefront2.exe and clicking on "Multiplayer", my game crashes. But When I use SWBFSpy.exe and go to multiplayer, I can see the servers and everything works.
How can I use this patch https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-b ... patch-r130 with Battlefront2.exe AND SWBFSpy.exe?
Please help.
You might try the Hosts file method instead of the SWBFspy exe.

So, it seems that there are two viable versions of patch 1.3 out:
1. r129 (2016), which I found has the best installer because it gives you the option to turn off the invasive HUD.
2. r130 (2017), which is compatible with the GoG/Steam online update and is the only version of the patch which can let you enter the server browser. You could simply install this one, but I couldn't find a way to fix the HUD, so I prefer installing them sequentially:
1. Install 1.3 r129 no-HUD version (https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-battlefront-ii/downloads/the-unofficial-v13-patch-revision-129-final), then
2. Install 1.3 r130 multiplayer update (https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-battlefront-ii/downloads/unofficial-v13-patch-r130)
I'll try installing them both. Maybe it'll help.
