I an idea for a new Tournament that I'd like to see happen/help organize. The concept is, a 1v1 tournament.

The rules of it, (Most are open to discussion.)
- 1v1 All Classes, Fair Sides Rebels (Open to discussion.) with modded Skins to tell the teams apart,
- 10 Tickets per team,
- Capturing Of CPs Disabled,
- Taking Place On Cloud City as it is the best map for balance,
- Heavy Anti-Glitch and Heavy Anti-Cheat Enabled ,
- Done inside of a addon map for simplicity's sake,
- 5 second spawn delay,
- Double Elimination Bracket.
Since I left a gapping whole allowing the Sniper crosshair to be modded. :slap: It really shouldn't be customizable, that was the biggest one I was trying to cut off. But the map is uploaded, so I'm not going gripe about it. Everyone may customize it to the full extent.

I have. But ultimately it comes down to who's hosting, if you play your match on non-dedicated software you'll need a new mission.lvl that sets the tickets to 10-10. (Too be made available once he bracket's sorted out.) If you play a match on dedicated software the current one is fine as you can set tickets by hand.
Also, how long should sign-ups stay open. Till the end of this weekend?
Ok well I suggest not letting anyone host in non-dedicated as it opens up potential abuse for controller autoaim. That is of course unless you removed the autoaim codes in the ODFs for pistol rifle crossbow etc.

So hosting, Led you wouldn't happen to feel like hosting a small dedicated server for the tournament? (Along with a Direct Connection for the macs?) It just seems like it would save arguments over hosting if there was just one sitting there.

Me and Scorpion just played the ones we got. They all share the same damage values. But if you wanted to be sneaky if you were first in the match you could pick the team you wanted. Of course if you and your foe agree on which teams you want to be, then great.

Also wondering if TK is supposed to be on, or of it is optional to turn it off, because this was not addressed in the OP. I prefer playing with TK off but rules are rules :)

I haven't a clue, since there's no one to TK I see no reason not to have it on. Led just left it on, I don't really care if it's on or off.

The main reason I prefer having teamkill OFF is so that players can grenade jump, say from courtyard up to the ramp on walkway or whatever.
That was my first tk -.- a nade jump
Also i think its important because what if you rocket a pole your near that was my second death it really should be off

Well overall the first round has gone quite well. We'll just have to wait for Lyza to get back in order to have matches C, J and loser match four. Sorry ComFrost, Van Sting and Unit 33. Everyone I think we can safely start having Round 2 matches now (Loser bracket matches included.). But let's wait for Matches C, J and the fourth loser one to move on to Round 3.

It's more of a preference of staying organized on my part. I don't mind Round 2 matches being done with some lagging behind, but Round 3 would start to get matches out of sync too much.

I had terrible lag that made it basically impossible to play, and the tournament has been bogged down enough already, so instead of rescheduling or something I just decided to cede the match to Sev. The score was 10 to 6 for me, if you count kishan falling to his death as a point for me. I actually only killed him 9 times.
My apologies it took so long for the match to happen.
Sleepkiller is taking a leave of absence, so in his place I will try to encourage everyone to complete the tournament.

Perhaps we could do a better more streamlined one at some point down the road ? Considering this one dragged out to much there are many improvements that could be made, like having an event for each bracket phase on the weekend were everyone shows up and duels.

If theres a second one of these, i would definitely compete in it. I didnt see this topic in time to join in, but it looks like a real great tournament.
