My bad, I was moving into my parent's home for these couple of weeks for some hospital stuff. Thank you for taking care of it, Led

Released Maps and Mods / Re: SWBFRAW32

It was a classic remote manager that worked mostly for setting up servers remotely...

Quote from: SG-17 on March 01, 2025, 05:48:34 AMHmm, thanks. A firewall ban seems like the easiest option.

As well, is there a way to setup a batch file to restart the server if it crashes without needing to click Close on the "battlefront.exe has stopped working" popup first?
Yes, here's an example:

:loop
echo(%time%) SWBF server started.

battlefront.exe /add /your /stuff /here

echo(%time%) server crashed / restarting...
goto loop

Quote from: Led on February 27, 2025, 06:06:05 PMIf I recall, I used a macro program to autoload a ban list--but I think it was based in the GUI version of the game.  Auto-IT.

I can probably find it if needed.

You can also firewall ban from your router or when using a rented server.

I do have it handly now that I searched for the SWBFRAW32 so if the ban thing is needed let me know!

Hello and welcome,

I guess I'll take as a compliment that I am that old  :P
Anyways, could you link us to the downloads and explain the step by step on what you're doing to see how we can help?

Quote from: lotsen on November 15, 2024, 01:08:30 PMI do not know if you are still taking requests for features to fix in swbf but as of now lan play is broken. If you get the server to show up and try to join it will just try to join for a minute and then fail. If I use the old 1.2 version of the game my dedicated gpu doesn not seem to be used. Sometimes you can get lan to work but its mostly a 90% chance for it to fail.
We can't fix GOG issues... Sorry.

Forum News and Forum Rules / SWBF2 Galatic Arena
October 19, 2024, 04:02:28 PM
Hello SWBFgamers!

Commencing this Friday, we are excited to announce the launch of an event on our SWBF2 Steam server: the SWBF2 Galactic Arena.

It has been quite some time since our last event, which took place on SWBF1, therefore, we are eager to give the SWBF2 event a try. The event will recur every other Friday, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate. For those who attend, a prestigious MPV award on our Discord server awaits.

We will be conducting a poll in our discord to gather your preferences for maps. However, feel free to request maps in-game, as long as a conquest map is suggested. Some of the featured maps will include Coruscant, Mustafar, Dagobah, Death Star, and Tantive IV, among others.

Additionally, we will be gathering in the voice chat on our Discord server at @Public Europe (SW Battlefront II).

Looking forward to an incredible event with all of you!

I am sorry I didn't reply here to thank you for the map suggestions. These have been packed and sent to BFH's owner Obi.

Big thank YOU!

Forum News and Forum Rules / SWBF2 BFH Request
September 21, 2024, 03:56:04 PM
Hello guys!

I was recently reached by BFH (Battlefront Hub) owner Obi, requesting new mod maps for SWBF2 scrims.
Currently, the BFH/BCL map pool contains some maps developed by Smith, a SWBF2 player & modder. However, it's time to go through some new and old maps to include them in the pool and enlarge it.

I have suggested that during the week of 28th of October, SWBF2's anniversary, we would play some of your mod maps to see if they fit the community requests:
  • Not too big, not too small. Have in mind they are going to be played in scrims. Take as references Mos Eisley and Tantive IV.
  • One or two eras, that doesn't matter.
  • Filesize no larger than 100Mb.
  • Maps can be conversions from SWBF1 or other games, or even inspired by movies.
I do believe SWBFGamers has the best modding talent and would like to credit and share it with all of them.

If you have developed one, two, or as many maps, feel free to send them to me privately (DM Link) or through this topic.
Do not take this as a priority. But take this as an opportunity to be known for your modding skills in the SWBF2 Competitive community.

Thank you for your endless support.

AFAIK they're all being manually approved by admins
