This is a TL:DR

In 2007 I downloaded SWBF 1 for the first time. I spent a few months in singleplayer just being me. Then I discovered multiplayer. Oh boy. I joined a server with the name "Rex." While in there, a guy named Kevin was asking for a clan name. So I suggested "Death Watch." That was the beginning of something i wont forget 8 years later. He asked if I wanted to join said "Death Watch." I remember it. It was on Rhen Var : Harbor. After that we started growing. A few months later we became one of the largest and best clans on SWBF1. I remember clans like SNIPE and Flames Desire. INTENSE sniper battles between clans. Countless hours designing clan websites.

We used XFire as did every SWBF clan and player. I remember the invincible servers hosted by (PLA)? All the fun times messing around in private servers. All the serious meetings and training before clan battles. Clans like GGR and WuSi. Some I have forgotten.

All the glitches oh my god. I knew atleast 20 on every single map possible. Out of map glitches, wall breaches. My favorite map for glitches was Cloud City.

Did you play around that era? What clan(s) did you belong to? Do you still play?
I know i still play swbf, except i dont know how to play online anymore :/

Thanks, Rex

Hey Rex. I can't say I ever played the original SWBF in that time. I was on SWBF2 multiplayer from 2008 to late 2012.

However I saw your mention of not being able to play online anymore, and I have good news! This website has a couple different ways for you to play online again, even though GameSpy terminated support. The one I used I believe was called Gamemaster. Easy to download, easy to use.

Hope you use this or one of the other methods available, and hope to see you online in the near future

I think that you can.  You should try to contact a player called PyroJockey

and send him a PM.  It's been a while since he has been here, but he would know if Gamemaster is working for PS2.
