get 64 bit. It's way better. I just followed bamdur's instructions and i can munge fine. even ZE works on my windows 8.1 machine (just have to start ZE twice in a row).

I have found that you don't need to make a new common.lvl if you're just replacing the "gam" animation. Its how I set up my yoda (in sig). With other animations you do.

Also, dont forget you can add new firing animations if you set them up so you can use FireAnim = "1"

EDIT: yes ggctuk that is correct, you can still have a large custom skeleton tho, and you can replace the jedi animation (with the bf2 one) in the common.lvl instead.

I have a geforce 770 and use 335.23. By some miracle my ZE works fine on this newer machine.

EDIT: If you're using high res terrain the ground seems to disappear a lot closer. It will be more noticeable the smaller your grid size. This might be something different tho.

Scott Kevill, the gameranger creator, made a patch for gameranger for swbf2. You CAN host dedicated servers, thats what the patch was for.

Does it have a texture assigned to it? It might show up in game but not in the viewer.

I also recommend using the xsi mod tool 7.5 and ZETools. They're both free.

EDIT: you also wont be able to set up a weapon correctly without using xsi.
