Title: SWBFSpy News
Post by: Anyder on October 16, 2016, 05:12:47 PM
Good night everyone.

During the past months we've worked a lot to grow the amount of players in SWBFSpy. And I'd like to congratulate each player who has helped or contributed somehow to SWBFspy. However, there are some players who don't seem to like what we're trying to build: a new community. And in order to disturb us, they have decided to cause us problems by attacking our Gameservers (crashing them, DDoSing, hacking, etc). This means that they ruin the fun of all the players hosted in those servers, and so that we can stop them we've had to stay alert to each attack and try to prevent it somehow (For instance, I had to contact the NFO Support because one of their machine was being used for this purpose).
Now I wanna make sure everyone knows that what they do and say has consequences:
SWBFSpy will not allow anyone cause this damage to anyone, and if someone is caught attacking any server, we will take all actions on our part to prevent the trouble makers from ruining SWBF/SWBF2 for the players.

Now I hope to see you all playing soon

We have seen several extremely large DDoS attacks against a customer in Chicago today.
Is this and all those others the attacks you speak of, or are these more recent?

Well, we've had a lot of attacks since August/September and they went on until the creation of this thread. Hopefully they will stop now cause we're aware of who is causing them.
