I've attached the stock .msh.
Would be cool if you check it out. I already hex edited it to prevent the scrolling.
But I think a plane mesh with the texture (no animation) would be much better with my reskin of the texture.  :)

Yea I still need it. My models I exported from blender didn't look good at all  :slap:

But a plane mesh would be nice  :cheers:
(i don't really know what the stock cube is scaled, it's in common.lvl => shell_cube.msh)

Hey there,
I need a simple cube/room mesh. However, I haven't figured out yet how to convert my files from blender to .msh format.  :confused:

Mesh:
Just a simple cube or something like "room feeling" or a simple plane mesh with one texture on it.
(I can change it later with hex edit => for easy to edit give it a name with 10 chars [shell_cube.tga])

It will be a replacement for shell_cube.msh (the spawnselect background)

Maybe you can edit the shell_cube.msh and make it plane. The room feeling is good, but I don't like the corner.  :shrug:

Hi,
As Commander Awesome and the others already mentioned, we all started that way.
But, for example, your recoil post. How do I add recoil?

1. Which weapons have recoil?
2. Look into the .odf files of these weapons
3. Find RECOIL in the odf's  8)
4. Add it to your weapon

This is just an example and I don't want to attack you in any way...
But maybe you can now understand some people here.
This is pure logical thinking and if you immediately ask everything, it is like Commander Awesome said:
"If too many requests are posted at the same time, some of them may not be seen."

And one last thing I would like to add:
Here are many really good modders and they work / discover / debug / etc  everyday on mods that expect much knowledge, time and experience.
So the time to answer such questions is often very limited. ;)

Hi,
thx for your answer. I just want to export my models and some edited stuff (no animations)
I just don't want to install or download hundreds of files for just exporting as msh format. So a simple converter or plugin would be dope  :cheers:

Edit: Gametoast search: exporters: msh export; blender; blender msh; ....
No results that helped :(

Hey,
I wanted to ask if someone knows a plugin for Blender that can export msh format or a 3ds or obj to msh converter?
(Or maybe, worst case: another program. XSI is as far as I know not freeware?)

Hi,
try to experiment a bit.
The sniper in bf2 hasn't a crosshair because the developers decided so  ;)
And idk if "adding a sniper crosshair" is a controversial topic here.. Because it's cheating (more or less).

Hey,

if you want to extract just textures from .lvl files, there is a .lvl extractor.
It delivers .dds files and you can convert them online or using photoshop or something like that into .tga files.

.lvl Extractor

Edit:
Extract the zip archive to any place on you computer, go into the directory (explorer) and press SHIFT + Rightclick. Theres a command "open cmd here" or something similar. Type in the name of the extracter.exe => extract.exe and then space and the .lvl name of your file

(or drag the .lvl file and drop it on the extract.exe)

I found my way back to battlefront and now, after my final exams, I have much more time to spent on things that I like to do  :)

I discovered a lot in the last few weeks,
interface control: hide parts (Chat/Kill-list(who killed who)/Reinforcements/Ammo and health/minimap/.....) by a toggler
or for those who want it simple, one value to instantly hide the whole interface.
Or for those who want to have their minimap or health or reinforcements or chat.. displayed everywhere, even in pausemenu, stats overview and so on... there you go  :)

I'm going to (re)create the SWBFadmin for you.

It will NOT include triggerbot, noname, radar, wallhack, crashtool and all the other "controversial" things  ;)

It will include nickchanger, cmd support, custom resolution launcher, disable loadingscreens, infinite stats hud, interface controller, chat toggler and much more.


I will release it as soon as possible, but it will take some time.
Feel free to post anything  :cheers:
