So if you're using english serverfiles, you have to download the english battlefront.exe

And then you can chose between american and european master server (which are equal)

I'm working on a new tool for server hosts (root and vps only) that auto reset the server after X minutes with no players online to provide max performance.
Idea by Phobos 

A poll would be great.
Evolve is senseless. Because using it just for its chat function..
Origin is a must have for everyone who want to buy the new SWBF.
Steam is a great place for a community. With chatrooms, private chats etc. I would vote for steam.

The problem with the launcher is, that it has the commandline parameter in its .ini file.
Encorn5's tool uses the commandline parameter /connect to connect to a server.
It would add the parameter to belks swbflauncher, not to ini file.

But maybe there's the key. Temporarily edit the .ini file and add /connect to it's end.

Ohw, hard answer...

Clients: yes, many

Server: a few but I wouldn't call them hacks nor cheats

by request I decided to host two servers.

- The main server (spalalarationskraftwerk) does not have Jedi Temple : Knightfall
- The second server is called: Spalakraftwerk + Knightfall and has knightfall in its rotation

I'll see which server is more active. If the Knightfall server is almost unused, I'll take it down.

Der Mehrspieler-Patch

Der "Client" ist das Spiel was du startest um Battlefront 1 spielen zu können. (Battlefront.exe)
Kopiere die Battlefront_deutsch.exe in den "GameData" Ordner von Battlefront 1.
Den findest du hier:
   
C:\program files (x86)\LucasArts\Battlefront\GameData\

(Du kannst den Pfad einfach kopieren und in dein Explorer Fenster kopieren.)


Anschließend musst Du die Datei (Battlefront_deutsch.exe im GameData Ordner) noch umbennen: Battlefront.exe

... ist das kein Problem, aber Du musst die Dateien dann selbstständig modifizieren. (Nur für fortgeschrittene Nutzer geeignet)
Öffne deine originale Battlefront.exe in einem HEX-Editor und verwende Suchen & Ersetzen um gewisse Abschnitte zu ersetzen.
(Tipp: Mache eine Kopie von der Battlefront.exe Datei, ..nur zur Sicherheit

Es handelt sich dabei um die MasterServer-Adresse von Gamespy. (Die "0" muss im HEX-Editor mit einer "Null" ersetzt werden)

Suche:

Diesen Part musst Du nur dann machen, wenn du noch die alte Star Wars battlefront Version besitzt. (1.0)
Welche Version du hast, kannst du ganz einfach nachschauen:

Starte dazu das Spiel, erstelle oder benutze einen Nutzernamen und klicke anschließend auf Mehrspieler.
In der oberen rechten Ecke sollte jetzt entweder " 1.0 " oder " 1.2 " stehen.
In dem Fall das bei Dir 1.2 steht, brauchst du dieses Tutorial nicht.

   (Durch #unknown-error (am Ende des Links) solltest du direkt zu der kleinen Liste mit den Downloadlinks kommen)

Du lädst die Deutsche (German) Version herunter. Dazu einfach auf " Download Now! " klicken. (Keine kosten & keine Werbung!)
Sobald Du die Datei heruntergeladen hast, klickst du einfach doppelt auf diese und ein Installer öffnet sich.
Er wird Dir das Spiel vollkommen automatisch auf die 1.2 Version Upgraden.

Folge einfach den Instruktionen die Dir der Installer gibt und dann sollte es keine Schwierigkeiten geben.
