Legacy of the Force is only nine novels with pages varying 375-500 or something like that. That's about a good 3/4's of a month right there.
Yea that's the series I'm going to attempt to read.

Lol, the only "Star Wars" book I ever took the time to read is Star Wars Encyclopedia  :P

Just saw this thread now, i loved this book its in my top 5 books ive read of all time. Its a Zombie Star Wars mix.

One of the few books I've read more than once. I really like it.

On a different note, I heard that the new SW novel Star Wars: Kenobi is as good as the Darth Plagueis novel! I'm going to a bookstore this Friday (the day it's released) to try and purchase it since I think Darth Plagueis is the greatest SW book of all time.

Here is an article about SW: Kenobi on starwars.com. http://starwarsblog.starwars.com/index.php/2013/08/26/the-world-of-star-wars-kenobi/

I love zombie shows/movies and i enjoy star wars a great deal so this was a perfect read for me.

I'll wait until it's on paperback. I'm not paying $30 for paper. Still...I brought four books with me on my trip and I'm already halfway through the second one. It's only the  9/4. I may have to buy another one to keep me occupied for this month.

My dad was able to get SW: Kenobi (hardcover) off of amazon for $9! That includes shipping etc.!

I've read a couple chapters so far and I'm really liking it. I definitely think it is one of the better SW books. But we will have to see....

I liked death troopers. Just disliked that none of the cannibal non-infected troopers lived :l . Pretty stupid that a zombie some how got in the ship and killed them both..

Yeah that part was kind of stupid. It'd be kind of funny if they ended it right there; the zombie gets aboard the ship. That way it'd seem like they all died. I can just imagine the rage that other people would feel :D

My favourite books are generally the ones written by Karen Traviss, and my top one would have to be either Triple Zero or Order 66 from the SW: Republic Commando series.

My favourite Star Wars book is a tie between Order 66 and Death Troopers. Order 66 really gives that behind-the scenes look of the Clone Wars from a commando's perspective, and an overall feel that you're experiencing these battles with them. Death Troopers is more so a fun read if you ever wanted zombies in Star Wars. The addition of Han and Chewy in the book though made it more enjoyable with the one-liners Han gives out and the like.

If I had to choose though, currently Death Troopers is my favourite Star Wars novel. :P

I personally have yet to read Death Troopers, as I'm pretty much sick of zombies by this point, and to me it seemed like the SWEU was selling out to popular culture.

Maybe I'll pick it up someday, as people seem to like it. I won't insult the book for the book without having read it :P

Finished Kenobi a couple weeks ago and it is a must read for any Star Wars fan. It ranks up there with very good SW books.

I'm now going to read the "Legacy of the Force" series. I'm about halfway through book one (Betrayal) and I'm loving it! I plan on completing the series before episode VII is released. :)

I've read the Legacy of the Force series at least four times :D. This is mostly because I only have about 20 Star Wars books, and I'm a huge reading and Star Wars nut. One thing I didn't like about them was that the focus flipped around with the author. Traviss usually focused on the Mandalorians and Boba Fett, while the other authors basically ignored him, leaving a big gap between parts of his story. :/
