A few rock bands/songs I like;
Queen - Princes of the universe (one of their lesser known ones)
Meatloaf - Bat out of hell
The Kaiserchiefs - Ruby
I also like most other songs by those 3 plus loads of band/singers that have already been mentioned here.
I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

Queen - Princes of the universe (one of their lesser known ones)

QuoteI am immortal!
I have inside me blood of kings! YEAH YEAH!
A bloody good song, paired along side the excellent Highlander film (now plagued with terrible sequels and reboot attempts).

Er... songs.

Group - Song

Primal Scream - Loaded
Happy Mondays - Step On
808 State - Cubik
Prodigy - Everybody in the Place
The Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds
Inner City - Good Life
Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion

10,000 songs? Wow.
The Heavy (Short Change Hero--Borderlands 2 intro song: )
Primus (My Name is Mud: )
I'll assume you've got some Sublime... what about 311 (Don't Tread on Me: )
I'll also assume you've got Cake.
Incubus?
Death Cab for Cutie?
Chevelle?
Smile Empty Soul?
Finger Eleven?
Raconteurs?
Story of the Year?
Powerman 5000?
Rammstein?  If you like Rammstein, try Eisbrecher or Megaherz.
Local H's Bound for the Floor, if you like grunge, better be one of the 10,000.
The Presidents of the United States's Peaches better be one of the 10,000.
Adema's The Way You Like It is also a solid song.
Billy Talent's Red Flag is a good song, too.
That reminds me of, [something] Danger's Flagpole Sitta, which better be one of the 10,000.
It also reminded me of The Vines's Get Free.  Also better be one of the 10,000.

Although respectively a metalcore and post-hardcore band, I think Dead by April and A Day To Remember have some songs that you might like.

Dead by April (whose eponymous album is, in my opinion, the best ever made):
Last Goodbye:
Found Myself in You:
Carry Me:

A Day to Remember:
You Had Me at Hello:
Have Faith in Me:
You Should Have Killed Me When You Had the Chance:

Both bands have songs where clean vocals dominate and were scream vocals dominate; however, if you're feeling adventurous and want an excellent mix of clean and heavy vocals, I suggest We Came As Romans's To Move on is to Grow ().

808 State - Cubik
The most incredible choice in here by miles.

Have you heard any Aphex Twin? His early stuff was really influenced by 808 State's "Newbuild" album.

A Guy called Gerald is from 808 State and he's also really good, you should listen to Black Secret Technology, it's amazing

Yes, I have heard some Aphex Twin, I can definitely hear that 808 vibe flowing though it... Oh that sounded pretentious.
I'll check out your suggestions... it's always good to blast some new sounds.
