Soooo, is [LK]Gambit going to accept his challenges or not?

And if not, i just beat Soul the other day in a duel that happened to be according to all the rules of this tournament, and it was after we both had already signed up. I signed up on the 15th, duel occurred on the 18th.

so could i just move up to his spot so that i may challenge somebody who actually is active? i wouldnt think this would be much of a problem since it is merely two spots, but i understand since it wasn't a recorded challenge if you would not want to accept the duel.

Released Maps and Mods / Disk-less Install
September 09, 2012, 08:11:06 PM
this download is a .reg file that will trick your computer into thinking that swbf is installed on ur computer (as long as you already have or transferred your lucasarts folder on that computer). For example, this worked great for when i wanted to put swbf on my laptop, which has no disk drive. Simply compress your lucasarts folder, put on a flash drive, place into the new computers program files folder, and then run this .reg file. and obviously you will need a disk-less launcher, so i included that in the zip file as well if you dont already have it.

*you may have to enter the cdkey into the the new computer to play online, that's what i had to do, but the same one works for both computers for me as well, so no big deal.. as long as u still have your game manual
*credit to Bamdur for creating the .reg file

Hope this makes anyone who needs it happy!

This is the file. post the code in notepad and save as a .reg file then double click and it will make ur PC think swbf is installed.

ohhh ok thanks

This will work just make sure you run this .reg file which will trick your PC into thinking SWBF1 was installed and let you run it.
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront]
@=""
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\1.0]
"CD Key"=""

wait where is this file? or do i run this code in cmd? or is it the reg file "doc" in the install folder

hey, this is just a pack of some common tga's that i modded, having to do with menu buttons and spawn screen backgrounds (no crosshairs). Basically if you want your game to look alittle cooler, give it a download and read the README, there's another file i recommend modding.

*NOTE* this is not a munged common.lvl file, so if you are not familiar with munging or do not have a common.lvl builder you will not be able to do much with these.

if i copy my LucasArts folder onto a flash drive and then put it in the programs folder of my laptop (which doesn't have a disk drive) and then i also used a disk-less launcher (which i use anyways), would the game be able to work on that laptop?

Thanks

Requests / HELP with Shell
August 09, 2012, 05:40:16 PM
Aye, so i've been fiddling around with Shell tga's recently and I'm having some issues. I want to change the color of the main screen's background, and i already changed the tga's colors using gimp and the colorize function. All of them are the same hue and such, but i munged my new shell, only to find that they didn't take affect at all (except for his_brief_bg, which is teh screen in which you choose maps for a server or single player game). The only difference that i noticed between that screen and teh others that i changed teh colors of was that its the only screen that doesn't have anything moving (like the atte moving or a speeder going by). So any help with this would be appreciated, idk if you have to mod a script or something.

and just to clarify these are the tga's that i've been trying to mod: atat_screen, atte_screen, coreship_screen, gc_screen, generic2_screen, generic3_screen, hoth_screen, main, movie_bg, movie_bg2, shell_planetholo. All of which are main screen backgrounds of some sort.

Thanks
