(212th)Mart ; Team: (212th)Gaming   , May I ask how the macs will play?

A DC will have to be hosted. It will allow both OS to play against each other.

212 may have 2 teams, do we still need to go by "A team must have a unique name to go by.
A team must have a unique tag to put in front of their members' names. The tag should be related to the name of the team." I understand that a team can only have 5 players. If we do have to abide by that rule, can it be like {212th}/(212th)/[212th]?

Mr. SleepKiller,
I think it should be your team Mr. Kiwi  :tu:

It would be cool to have gdh92 and Buckler...PLA should stick together  :)

Ah macs slipped my mind. DCs are actually dependant on Gamespy, without it clients can't connect.

I would rather it be a bit more unique than that, since people often like to just change what surrounds the tags themselves. One team wearing 212th and another wearing just 212 would be enough for me however.

I don't care who's on my team as long as its named "Unicorn Swag"
"I would explain it to you but your head might explode."

Didn't Led have a DC working a few months back via OpenSpy? Unless OpenSpy has been shut down, then forget what I said. :P

(Also, I'd love to join this, but my restrictions are still in effect. If the event is scheduled around the end of January/early February, then I might sign myself up even though I suck. :P)

Yes, but we stopped using OpenSpy for a reason. It's unreliable and finicky.

Hmmmm... maybe Mr. Kiwi's team name can be "The Knights Who Say Knee"
"I would explain it to you but your head might explode."

I had no idea Direct Connections were reliant on Gamespy. If a Mac user made the DC host, would it still rely on Gamespy?

I think we tried it, and it did not work.
