Modding help yet again

when trying to do what bamdur did with the texture in this video:
when i try to do the same texture i get white instead this is kind of annoying

did you put geo1.TGA in the texture tab left down when selected the tab texture?

i myself learned how to make mod maps myself using these videos, they were all clear to me, just pm me for another question
