So, I'm going off to college next year and I'm looking to purchase a new laptop. Right now I am operating a mac, but I am willing to change platforms if anyone can give me a solid reason why I should.

I am looking for a laptop that can withstand nearly 75 GB of music, music editing software, and photoshop while still being able to play an online game when I feel the need. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify a few things...

Currently I am using a mac g5 with a broken screen as i guess 'my computer' but I attached a hp monitor to it so i can browse the web alright but when I try to play a game (namely cod4) I can only play it on the broken screen

Games I play: Cod4, hopefully swbf when i buy a new disk
Games i have played: WoW, swbf
Consoles I own: mac, ps2, n64 <--still my fav

I also dabble in the graphic arts, mainly tee-shirt design though
