Hey,

I've created new weapons for all sides. But if im playing there only stand as wepon names: 0x

Can i give my own weapons a new name?

(Its a new .odf + _ord + _exp for all weapons.)

You need to use the localization tool to change various names in the game.

It is located in your modid folder.
BFBuilder\DataYourModID\edit_pc_addon_localize.bat

That opens the tool.

Ah okay, it is possible to do it with hex editing?

I don't believe there is a technique for hexing localization.

But the Localization tool is the proper way to edit them so there is no need to hex them.
