News: I haven't worked on the Space Map for a while, but I have got other ideas which I'm incorporating. I'm including mission maps based off the PSP version of BF2's "Imperial Enforcer" missions.

There's lots of things they changed. Lots of CPs in the localization keys that aren't in the game. Bespin Platforms had loads. Originally there were supposed to be two destructible extractors there.

What does that post have to do with anything? In any case, that's BF2, not BF1.

Little update, for those who care (if any).

Teancum's currently investigating whether the PSP version can be modded. I think it's likely a yes as the executeables don't list a 'switch' for each console (PC, XBox, PS2, PSP). I've also refined my ideas a little bit. I remind you that at the moment it's theoretical as we need PSP Firmware GEN 6.20 to be released to even begin to test this.

Could I ask that this thread be moved to the SWBF Modding Tutorials section?

Yep, the Main Play Mod is indeed on hold for the future while I attempt to sort out various glitches. I already have units set out in the way I want (pretty much). There are such glitches as the Naboo Plains mysterious crash (I might have to make a separate addon map on top of the official map), and the DEVISS models (I want the skirts to be modelled onto the BF2 models). I would also like to see 6 units done. I cannot decompile certain shell files I need to though, then I could split the Heavy unit into the Heavy and Commander units.

My original YouTube channel was lost at the beginning of April because of Warner Bros, so don't look to the "ggctuk" channel if you do, it is now at "ggctuk2005".

ep3 music is definitely the coolest  ;) It fits the movie really good. Maybe you should do all ep3 music :D

It wouldn't fit on Naboo, Tatooine, Kamino or Geonosis. Tatooine's got both Episode I and II music for it.

NEWS:

No 6 units yet. I shall see if I can figure out how to decompile shell.lvl and examine its contents.

I'm working on some new music for the Clone Wars missions, featuring music from Episode I, II and III, dependant on the map. So it'll be the following:

Bespin: No new music
Geonosis: Episode II music
Kamino: No new music as it already features all of its themes.
Kashyyyk: Episode III music
Naboo: Episode I music.
Rhen Var: Haven't decided yet whether to have new music here or not. Possibly Episode II music.
Tatooine: Music from both Episode I and Episode II
Yavin IV: Not decided, possibly a mixture of Episode II and Episode I music.

yea, i mean the DS isnt that great. For portable gaming kids nowadays are using smartphones or an Ipod Touch. Although that DS looks pretty cool, from a 14 year olds perspective, the only people that play DS's nowadays are little kids.

Excuse me? Repeat that last remark to the 20-year-old DS Player writing this message? :P

You could try porting the SWBF2 version of the map as a start... BattleBelk made a tut that I posted in the tutorial section.

Phantom Munge problem... happened to me with the Dark Trooper. Alas, there is no cure but to restart...
#2082
Deviss on Gametoast might be doing the BF2 units with skirts.
#2083
Nope, the skirts and suchlike are not possible unless you model them onto the unit yourself. Sorry.
#2084
Are you going to submit this to SWBF files?

How'd you do it without it crashing at munge? I always get a "terrainmunge has stopped working" when I try to edit that map directly. Even if it doesn't, I get crashes in SPTest that don't appear in the BFront.log file.
