Hi errybody, thought I'd leave this here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/swbf2revival/
For what it's worth, a new platform for SWBF2 discussion. Just trying to spread the word about our glorious game.
What is that for ?
Why is it necessary to start a new reddit for Star Wars Battlefront 2, when one already exists?
Not to mention the excellent conversations and collaborations on the topic happen right here...
Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with the new reddit group. I suspect though, that it will be tough to get it going.
I figured the more platforms there are for reaching people who may be interested in talking swbf2, the better. Not knocking the fine establishment of this site, by any means. It very well may stay empty indefinitely, and is in all likelihood superfluous.
And thanks Led, I will be around so nice to meet you.
I think the surprise to us was that another subreddit was being created since there is already an active one, but that's OK. There is also an active steam forum and a group called GameToast.
For most of the last 10 years, our focus has been on the original SWBF (2004) but we started supporting SWBF and SWBF2 since we run the SWBFspy master server now.
Are you -=|LT|=-Smith?
Sorry, I'm legitimately confused - which subreddit do you guys mean? The /r/swbf2 one is private and /r/battlefront2 has three posts in the last month.
Hi BoMber, long time no see, that's me.
How about some of these?

Well one's dying, two are dead, one is pretty much just EA, and the last is an odd assortment of games. So y'all made me realize I should have laid out what I imagined from the get-go.
I guess what I had in mind was a spot much more focused than what I'm seeing in any of these places, with an intent to analyze gameplay and implement teamwork in bf2 while showing off to prospective players why it's such a cool game, why they should play it, while also pushing the current state of the game into new territory. It seems to me there's a lot of potential no one is tapping. The game's fun but it could use a bigger pool of talent, a deepening of gameplay. If people start exploring new options and get hype for tight footage, that's an enlargement of the game itself, and a potential draw for new players.
