I launch it from steam it's fine just can't play mp then I launch the exe and it just goes black please help

Hi Jamesb21, welcome to SWBFgamers.

I will assume this is for SWBF2 PC version since you are using Steam.

Don't delete the exe file that steam created. Instead, just copy the new exe file (name it SWBF2swbfSpy.exe or something) and place it in the Gamedata folder. Make a shortcut from this new file to your desktop.

Launch the new exe from that shortcut to access the SWBFspy servers instead of using the steam launcher.

Also, make sure you have obtained the new exe file from here or from Info.SWBFspy.com
