Do you have any funny fails that were your fault?

Last night after the mod night (I missed it o(╥﹏╥)o) I was playing on Miranda Facility. I'm the last man standing and there is one AI left. The only problem is that he is on the other side of the map. So me, being lazy, decided to shoot at my feet and launch myself across the map. I went flying through the map, literally (I went through walls), landed on top of the building that was from Platforms, and then slid off and died.

I have a dual core laptop and I was getting the bug where both of my CPUs spontaneously overload and cause the game to crash. I tried to use the affinity setting through task manager but that didn't work. Then I tried putting it in compatibility mode. That fixed it. It also erased my profile. Looks like I'm a Private again.....

So I want to use a mod but it requires me installing the 1.3 update. I had no problem downloading it, however whenever I click on menu.bat (right-clicked as admin) it says that BattlefrontII.exe is not in the same folder. The update will now close. I have tried copying and pasting my BattlefrontII.exe into the folder (I made the required folder "AAA-v1.3patch") yet I still get the same message. Would it be okay if I manually just copied everything over?

However, when I do not run as administrator, I do not get the error. But, while patching everything, everything gets an accessed denied.

So I have been watching S5 of the Clone Wars series (strange, I have so much anime backlogged yet I am watching this lol) and thought that it would be really cool if instead of a Droideka, why not have one of those Droid Commandos? Even better; imagine a game with Republic Commandos versus Droid Commandos. That sounds pretty fun. I think that the Droid Commandos look pretty cool and could easily balance out the Jet Troopers on the Republic.

Well, I'm back from my trip. I was packed in with the rest of the luggage in the back seat for a total of 2100 or so miles. My knees hurt.

I finished reading Star Wars: Darth Plagueis and finished one route (Saber) in Fate/Extra on my PSP.

On a positive note, I can now use xbox live, so hit me up if you ever feel like playing Reach. I usually play around 2200-2230 at night for an hour or so pacific time. My tag (for now) is GOTTALOVE ANIME.

Edit: I misheard the driver, it was almost 3000 miles, not 2100 (so like 2910 something like that).

I am out of town so I will not be able to get online much. I may post on the forums occasionally but I highly doubt I will be able to play Battlefront. It's possible I may not get on until after Christmas. So until then. Merry Christmas.

This ruined my day. Seriously, it's one thing for some high schooler to snap from being outcast by his classmates, but going on a freaking killing spree on kindergardeners? That is just disgusting.

Not to mention, gun laws are going to go crazy; with good reason I add.

Does anyone know of a class mod that will allow me to swap out the Droideka yet still retain online playability? The reason I am asking is because I want to practice a bit, but dealing with Droidekas would hamper the practice because I plan to only use one class during that game.

It doesn't have to actually retain online playability as I can swap it out for the original file, but it would be nice if it did as to save me the hassle of going back and forth.

I'm just curious. I used to get around 100/2 or so while playing on hard on the xbox version.

The Star Wars Battlefront 1 community has taken a big hit thanks to Jerk Disney. Not everyone was connected to this site and that means they're gone. Not everyone was able to get GameRanger and Tunngle working, so they're gone. Then there is the Mac community, they're there, but barely.

So, who do we have left?

Hi. Just another regular on SWBF1. I'm known as Roxas187 and was in the =AaTc= clan before it went down. I'm online pretty much everyday so if you go online there is a good chance you'll see me.

I returned after what...two years or so? I lost my game and was not able to get a new one until about a few weeks ago. I'm training hard to become the good player I used to be. I also have SWBF2 and Republic Commando.
