Led its `~{Riddick}~` again. I downloaded the patch and dont know what to do from there. Do i need gamespy profile to activate it or is it something simple, where i dont need gamespy profile and just download it and get? Please get back to me whenever you can. Thanks. And I looked at the forum thing and don't know what to do to send a message from there. I'm still a noob on this sight. Had it for about a month and the game for about 2 weeks. Ya i do need help. Sorry for not sending in the forums again cuz I dont know what to do from that.

Just hit "reply" to this topic and type in any questions.  I assume this is for SWBF1 and that you have the autoinstaller which is this link:
http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=1388

un-compress the files, run the autoinstaller

select multiplayer, internet, join a game.  No "gamespy" profile needed.

Post if you need help, and if you need help, let us know what version of windows you are using.

Its Riddick again. I downloaded the Gamespy autoinstaller deal. Uncompressed it and everything, but it says that there's a problem with not installing cuz its missing binkw32.dll. Does that bink mean anything to you guys? Asking cuz tried to install that and its being weird. I guess for my windows 8, it needs that to run the gamespy autoinstaller thing and thats being weird. So I don't know what to do from you. Whenever anybody gets the chance please help me with this, thanks.

OK, that is the manual install version.

You need to look in the GameData folder.  Copy your original exe file to some other name, put this one there, rename it, done.

The bink error is when you put the exe in the wrong folder.

That may be for SWBF2, but it is very similar for SWBF1
