Which videos do you prefer?

Shorter videos with more editing and effects
Longer videos with less editing and effects
I would like to hear some input about what type of videos you guys like to see.

Shorter videos with editing and effects. Example:

OR

Longer videos with less editing. Example:

I personally think effects distract from the content. You know, "Less is more" and all that.

I'd pick longer videos with less editing that's just my preference. I like some transition effects though, but I hate effects used during the kill clip itself. They almost always "ruin it" for me as the viewer.

Hehe, I guess I like edits etc. Here are some of my all time favorite SWBF movies that I watch multiple times.

Lest We Forget:   (watch in full HD, it looks amazing )

SIM.PICTURES-Showreel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTXCeV_ZS50&sns=em    This just shows what simp was working on at the time, but I really like it. Also watch in HD. :P

And just watch all of Deagle's SWBF video's. They are all great, I watch those all the time.

So for my final "things I like to watch ramble" I will say this,
I love watching 3-4 min. movies with awesome kills, nice edits that add effects, and music that goes along with what you are watching. (See Lest We Forget for a perfect example)

I guess that's the opposite of everyone else, but hey, I also like the prequels so...

I prefer raw originality over 'professionally edited', I personally think the kills look better when unaltered by video effects. Mods in the video though, I am all for.

Never mind.

Were you talking about how the quality of a montage (or other assembly of clips) is determined by the quality of the clips being assembled?  If so, I agree.  If you weren't, I'll say it.

no xD, thats why i said nvm, it was a question i cannot even make on spanish LoL

I choose neither. :)
I like to see a variety of videos, the heavily edited ones look great and I enjoy watching them. The minimalist ones that are just gameplay footage usually have something interesting to see.
If I had to make a choice I would say have heavily edited intro clip (flying around maps with freecam etc) and then lots of different gameplay clips after.
I play less now but I'll always be around, lets keep this site and battlefront going. :)

I agree with these statements, the effects ruin it for me. It makes it harder to see exactly what skill was involved and even if it is legitimate.
