I finally got GameMaster installed but now I can't join any high ping servers, even after using the ping trick. Is this just a side effect of GameMaster? I hope there's a way around it.
like 9999 servers? i think those are not properly configured with portforwarding. The 9999 trick no longer applies now that Gamespy is dead.

You're right. The last Saturday i set up a SWBF2 GS for testing some mods and, for some reason, the server was "pinged" and sometimes it wasn't (like, it was 16-31 ping at the beginning and then it was 9999). However my router has those ports forwarded so I don't understand what is happening with selfhost servers xd
