Well my idea of a tournament is a fun competition without billions of rules. I'm not familiar with tournaments but I don't want it to be like the ICW's we have here. Just some fun team battles...
I agree. If we get enough people it could be team-based. Hopefully we do, otherwise the rules come flooding in.

Consider me committed, so long as it's a reasonable time slot :D

I don't plan on organizing any tournaments myself, as I don't currently have the resources or capacity, but I would like to know if anyone else has plans.

Radar?

General / Re: Best Dubstep Rap Songs?

I don't know what you mean by 'Dubstep rap', but some good Dubstep music would be Bonfire () and Power Glove () by Knife Party. There are  few (and far between) lyrics in them, but they seem sorta like the kind of thing you're looking for, I guess.

General / Re: Anyone still watch cartoons nowadays?

I think the last time I watched a cartoon was a few months ago on the Teletoon Retro channel, I think the old cartoons are still occasionally amusing. If you have cable or satellite TV you should check it out sometime.

Is there any chance of a tournament ever being held for Battlefront 2? I have yet to acquire the original, and there seems to be no kind of organized or official server, or any kind of event for Battlefront 2. I know this is a forum mainly based off of the original, but there has to be a few people wanting to play Battlefront 2. Does anyone have any plans or ideas?

It's a Quake-style shooter, but with wall-running elements. It's fairly old, but there's still a large community, and there are loads of different gamemodes. It also comes with map-creation tools. The graphics are pretty low-spec, so it will run on just about anything.

Valves' long awaited "Steam Machines" were just preliminarily announced.

I'll buy one of those.

Take my money, Valve. All of my money.

General / Re: What are your favorite Star Wars books?

I personally have yet to read Death Troopers, as I'm pretty much sick of zombies by this point, and to me it seemed like the SWEU was selling out to popular culture.

Maybe I'll pick it up someday, as people seem to like it. I won't insult the book for the book without having read it :P

I always go for jumping myself, because more often than not people easily lead their fire and keep hitting me when I'm rolling. I find jumping to be useful especially if there are bits of low cover I can leap over.
Then again, hitting spacebar is just a panic reflex for me.

My favourite song is hands-down 'Bonfire', by Knife Party.

My favourite books are generally the ones written by Karen Traviss, and my top one would have to be either Triple Zero or Order 66 from the SW: Republic Commando series.

The reason they couldnt flip a s witch at first is that they needex to install one, and they didnt think it worth it untill they started losing money.
Still, at this point I just don't trust Microsoft to be honest about how they're managing it, and the PS4 seems much more focused on games than the all-purpose Xbox One.
