Hi all,

I downloaded a side mod that gave me a whole bunch of .msh, .option, and .tga files. If there were no .odf files, how can I use these files to make a custom side?

The files are for ARC Trooper Fives btw.

It sounds like those are model files.  You an look at existing ODF files and replace the names in the existing ODFs with the new names (assuming everything is there) and re-munge.  You will have to adjust other properties (health, weapon damage) to suit your needs.

Check inside the file SLTg_con.req

It sounds like there is a formatting issue with a bracket.

Subsequent errors could be caused by this first error.

You'll probably need to fix tfushell.req and imp_inf_marine.req as well.  I'm not as familiar with BF2 but it looks like you are missing shell.req as well, which could be the overall req for the level.

'Please, tell me more about the logistics of the design of laser swords being wielded by space wizards' - Some guy on the internet.

I verify on every test map that I have done, when I munge the shell option it awlays says :

ERROR[levelpack shell.req]:Input file shell.req does not exist. [continuing]
   1 Errors    0 Warnings

I even redone my tfu side, even redone the first munge and then replace the new world1 with the old one but I always have that .
And this is the only error that I have (except the sound ,of course) I have fix the other errors but the models still doesn't appears in game.

I found the solution, for those who one day have the same problem as me, (example for the stormtrooper), you just delete your custom side to copy the common and imp folders in your side file to place in your file msh, the new ones, change in the rifleman (stormtrooper) odf GeometryName = "imp_inf_stormtrooper_wii" (or whatever your msh name is) and then go to the lua scripts and add dc in front of imp side, ....

finally I arrived there !!!! and yet it was simple as hello, ....  :slap:
