SWBF1 Modding / Common.lvl editing

I have seen and known some people who have gotten into modding the common.lvl for the game. Examples: Fire and Nice Guy. So, I was thinking, hey, why not i give it a try? So, i have to battlebelk tool box. That's it. Is there anything else i need. Also, would anybody be kind enough to point me towards a tutorial for editing basic things like laser bullet colours and skins? I was told about the IMP side builder, but I can't open 7z files...Please help if possible! Thanks!

i know of a core.lvl 64bit localization tool that bamdur released. It helped me understand localizations after i messed my whole entire game up. So yea, ask him for it, I can't find the link at the moment, but im sure he will give it to ya

Its a good idea, it really is. Theres just one problem-most clans dont allow you to be in more than 1 clan. To be in that clan, youve gotta sever all ties to the other one. I dunno if people would wanna do that, especially if theyre already in a really exclusive clan.
