I used the GameMaster Install and I got the little box with Install and Unistall pop up. It then said you should now be able to play SWBF online. I went into my gamedata folder and clicked both the Battlefront.exe and later the Battlefront_Gamespy.exe. Neither of them worked for me as the internet showed no servers.

I am using the no cd Battlefront.exe btw. Any suggestions for a fix?

Edit: Never mind, I got it working.

Tech Support / Re: Xfire in-game

I have not tried swbf yet with x-fire. I was having trouble with Battlefield and x-fire. Either way I have removed it from my games list and manually installed it with no luck.

It's probably what Led says, I had problems with Gamemaster but it seems fine with Sleepkillers autoinstall when I used that instaed. If that doesn't work there is a part in the options of X-fire where you can tick each game if you want to have an game display I think, it's possible it's automatically turned off now.

What do you mean tick each game to have a display? my eyes must be missing something in the options.

Hey I just downloaded X-fire and my in-game is not working. I have changed the keys several times and still no luck.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Darn. I personally love the Battlefield games. (Maybe more than I ever did swbf1). I was hoping for Battlefield gameplay only with rebels and empire or something.

Papers Please is on sale for 5$ for the next 22 hours.

I was thinking about Arma3, but I have read some bad things about it from other players so...I am not sure lol

I have played swbf2, but IMO compared to swbf1 it is a step in the wrong direction.

Today is the last day of the Steam Summer Sale. Anyone buy any epic games that they recommend?

Has anyone bought and played Banished?

It looks just like Age of Empires, which are great games but the maps are too small for me.

You can go to the Battlefield website and sign up on the front page. It is a lot of fun for me so far. OR if you just want to watch some game play, I always enjoy watching this YouTube channel for new games.

Btw, it might take a couple days for them to email you.

I bought the game a year ago through a humble bundle deal- but never installed it and it does not show up in my games list.

Any ideas why?

I own Battlefield 3 but have not played it before. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is my go to game now and other than the glitchy aspect, your description of Battlefield 4 is very similar to Bc2.

Would you say battlefield 4 is very similar to Bc2? (If you have played it).

Other Games / Global v. Ru?
April 16, 2014, 05:03:50 PM
Hey everyone

I was browsing games and came across two versions of Arma3. One of them was "Global" listed at 40$ and the second was "Ru" listed at 10$.

I have not seen this before and I do not understand why there is such a large difference in price. Any thoughts appreciated.  ;)

I missed another game, sorry guys. I have hours of free time during the week but unfortunately weekends are tough for me to play.  :(

I'd consider TF2 to have a steep learning curve. Would you say the same for LoadOut?

Also, is there any type of premium feature where players can get perks for spending real life money?
