Sweet! This is a great map for online combat. I wish we had this available a few years ago. Even in SP it is a lot of fun. Great job, Sereja. I look forward to all your maps.  :cheer:

I just sent my review as well. Very nice.
A SWBF1 Museum is a great idea.

I can review it if you like.

That's true. I just can't afford two systems, and most of my software is Mac.

So no Mac version eh.  >:(
Bummer deal.

I'd love to play as a Jedi or Sith with a variety of force powers, where you can switch (in-game) from one force power to the other, like in the Jedi Knights: Jedi Academy game; with Force Push, Force Pull, Force lightning, Force Protect, Force Absorb, Mind Trick, etc. But at the same time preserve the battlefront feel and competitiveness to the game with an assortment of weapons available to all troops. In short, it would be nice to play as a true Jedi/Sith with all their natural abilities. Battlefront 1 never accomplished that. And I never could play BF 2 as a mac user.
... Also, more than anything, I'd love to be able to make maps and mods on my MacPro and not have to use a PC to do it. Hopefully us Mac users won't be cast aside again.

BTW, I do like the idea of having a multi-player Galactic Conquest mode, where you can organize your own troops. That would be sweet.

Starfleet uniforms would be quite easy to make and wouldn't require any new models.
But the Phasers would of course, as well as the Borg etc...
It would be fun to do, but why not a Star Trek VS Star Wars mod? That would allow for the usage of existing maps.

Perhaps yet another worm-hole related accident causes the crew of the Enterprise to beam over to some SW universe place.
And you could have the eras... CW, the TOS generation fighting Droids, and then NGT fighting Imperials in GCW?

That would be awesome too! A Star Trek vs Star Wars map and mod would be epic for sure.

I have no clue as to how much work it would take, being a mac user I just don't know what is involved. But if you could make it, I'd be the first to DL it!  :cheer: And having battles on the Enterprise would be something new and thoroughly enjoyable for everyone.  It would bring new life to this old game. :)

I've had an idea for a map (or two) for a long time. Unfortunately I'm on Mac so i can't make maps.
I would love to see a "Star Trek Battlefront" map w/star trek models. GCW would be the original Star Trek characters versus the Klingons. And CW would be the next generation characters versus the Borg. The Map itself would be a dea1-like map onboard the Enterprise. And maybe a second map on one of the planets the star trek crew visited in the original series. I think this would be epic. The weapons would be different phasers, of course; hand phasers, phaser rifles, etc. Obviously this would be a huge project and would likely require a group effort. But it would be awesome!

What I'd like to see most is the ability for mac users to make maps. I've been wanting to make a map for years, but can't on my mac.

I think jumping is more effective in general. But rolling has it's uses too. For example on CC when up in the hallway, rolling out to one side or the other is quicker than trying to jump out of the line of fire. And a mixture of both jumping and rolling can be very effective, too, especially if you are facing multiple enemies at the same time and/or need to evade incoming rounds while you are reloading.

I see. GameRanger seems to still be working. If they can switch this around so pc users can play on the mac version, we can get some online games going again.
