So hi there... Oldie here, and recently i've started to yearn to play and watch star wars again... i love it. 

Now, i dont have my BF1 disk since i lost it a long time ago ( ) however i do have SWBF2 on Xbox. Im pretty bored of the maps, so i decided to get a port of SWBF2 for Mac... so my question to you guys is...


What are some good SWBF2 Custom Maps? I do like Space, actually any kind of maps.

I thought i should make a topic for this because we may be getting a server, and we should decide what kind it should be.
Basically, there are three main types of servers.
Survival
Build
Role-Playing.

I hate Build, and that's what gre3n's has turned into (you can spawn things, etc) which is why i wont be as active on that as usual.

Survival is sort of like you have to survive against waves of monsters, and its still not as good as it will be in the final mode, but its kinda like a horde style mode.

Then there's role playing.
Recently ive been looking for a new server, and i found this one where you have to sign up on the site to get builders access, and then find a space to build. Right now they have an amazing town, and people have jobs (bankers, traders, guards, etc)
There's even an in-town train system (minecarts) that provide fast travel through the huge town they have.
There is only spawning for wood tools when you first join.
Ive really been enjoying it, and i think that's what the MPC one should be like, since we're already a good community, and we can show it through a role-playing server with our own town, rules, train system, etc.
A few other things to note about the system... There is mobs a while outside of the town, that you can fight for supplies (things from the nether that you cant get, etc, which are good for trading) and there is also a quest master.
The quest master is temporarily down they said, so im not sure how it works, but it sounds awesome.

So what do you guys think?

There were two other files when i searched "minecraft" on my computer, some tiny installers, both .exe
Deleted all 3 (those 2 and MC)
Redownloaded
same thing...

So i keep getting this.
Ive restarted computer, reinstalled minecraft, everything.

I just went 38-20 something doing this.
38 Stabs.
I got in 3rd too cause people rage quit xD

Okay so my comp just froze in the middle of me exporting a video from imovie, and converting an hour long video that was almost done.
It has done this much before, and never frozen before DoD/CSS.

Anyone see it?! ANYONE?!

Okay well ive been noticing a bunch of things wrong with my computer lately, and i realized it all started with the downloading of CSS/DoD.
Basically my computer freezes alot now. I can still hear sound, but the screen freezes.
This mainly happens while ingame (one of CSS or DoD)
But has happened a few times while not in game, and i had never had a freeze before i downloaded those 2 games.

Also, my minecraft has had constant mini-spikes of lag in the Multiplayer server, and it pretty much started when i bought those, if i can remember.
So can someone help me out?

Okay so i bought it and started downloading around 6PM EST.
And it was taking a long time but it was okay.
Around 11 i started trying to get to sleep, and reguraly checking it.
around 12-12:10 it was maybe 300-200 MB close to done.
So i come back around 12:30 to check, and it still has around that much to go, which got me confused.
Then i realized my computer was frozen.
So ive tried restarting steam and stuff since then a bunch of times, but basically, in my games library it says "Counter-Strike: Source - Download Starting"
However, when i go to installed games, it's there too.
When i try to play it, it says "Steam servers are currently busy, try again in a few minutes"
Its been saying that every time for the past 12 hours basically.
However, L4D2 works to play.

One more thing, on startup (every one), steam has to "validate" CSS, which takes a couple seconds, and it does the validate thing again when i try to start it.
