Hi
Today, ive banned 2 guys from my root (Bream and PRO.Darth) and 1 from a server (engelskrieger)
In case any of u check this, ill explain u why u got banned:
1) If u join a server, and u bring with u the PLA Server rules, u get banned (for trying to implant other clan's rules into my clan servers)
2) If u join a server, and u start CPing, without even asking anyone (not just the server admins), u get banned.
3) If u join a server for teamkilling (or team shotting) people, ure obviously banned.
4) If u join a server for insulting the clan, that is hosting the server, or that has rented the server, then ure banned.
5) If u join a server and start insulting players and being a :censored: , then ure banned.
6) Laggers will be banned. (Sadly bf1 servers dont have the autoboot laggers option.
Also, server crashers will be banned (obviously)
@Bream, u broke the rule #1 , #2 and ended by insulting me in Tunngle, so also #5 rule.
@Darth, u broke #3 (and before #2). And in the end #5 rule.
@Engelskrieger, u broke #6 (Recommendaton, get inet, cause i had lower ping (76) than u (96), and im spanish and root is german, like u.
These rules are not SWBF2 Servers rules, and if u have complaints on those servers, u will have to contact ACE or Gamergirl. (Since they are only full server admins of SWBF2)

Not that I'd want to play in UEF servers but I just want you to explain what you consider a lagger? Is it someone with over a certain ping number like 150? Or how do you define who is a lagger and who isn't? Just wondering that is all.

If ure not moving and ure about 5 metres away from him, but still shotting at him, and he takes 0 dmg (like Engel) then ur inet is even worse than Hond's (no offence dude, but we both know ur inet speed =P)
Engel had 95 ping, i had 80 being spanish.
Finally somebody did something like this. I would recommend FC to do this too... *cough* *hint hint* *cough* ;)
if you join the server, then ure banned :P

Answering the post like a good man, CPing is basically the objective of capturing command posts. Us multiplayer folk abbreviate command posts, to CPs, and such, CPing, is the art of capturing command posts on a map.
Also, on a side note here Anyder, why was I booted a while back for camping on the roof near the cantina on Mos? I never did understand the reason. Being retired, you don't need to worry about me joining your server at all anyways, I'm just curious is all.
I think its more of a "He really likes the "Ban" button" sort of deal.
People on SWBFII like to ban you for stupid reasons, since they can't find any rules about having too many kills, or too much skill. Admins these days.. Very lousy.

Nobody has asked ur opinion here. Nor anyone else's. I just made this post so that people wouldnt say WHAT ARE THE RULES ''OM*G'', and cry on tunngle.
In SWBF2, i give 1 warn, and then ban. We do not tolerate buggers, glitchers or whatever. Last time i checked the banned people, there are about 8 guys banned. 1-2 for insulting and saying server s*cks, etc. If u dislike the clan or server, get out, we do not need noobs crying in our server.
Another 4 guys were bugging in Death Star, Jabba's Palace, and more maps i didnt even know people could get it (Like in Mygeeto, glitch with a tank [WTf?])
1 Guy called 74 Adrian is banned cause everywhere he goes, he is only saying crap, and saying he is the server admin (Lmao)
The other ones are just people that are banned from UEF Clan Activities, such as ''acyd'' and some other guys.
Nobody has asked u to join our servers, RepublicCommando, and ill say publicly, that if i saw u in a uef server in bf2, i would consider banning u, even having no reason.

Well, im sure u got booted from 1.0 Server (correct me if im wrong).
U might got kicked cause i first warned u on no cantina root camp, i might have given u 2 warns, and u still came back there, so i finally booted.
Why do i dislike(d) people camping in cantina root ? Well mainly cause in the 1.0 i was considering putting unlimited ammo, and being bazooka.

It's your server Anyder and it's good to have a list of rules so there can be no arguing but if you want to be respected as an admin you need to make sure all bans are fair and that you give warnings (obviously some serious things don't get a warming). I'm not saying you're bans are unfair by the way, that's just my general thoughts. :)
Also I just want to say that I played for a year with bad internet and I would lag sometimes, this would usually cause me to randomly die but very rarely I would get a kill when I didn't think I had hit. If everyone banned people who had bad internet I couldn't have started playing Battlefront.

Im asking just for having 15 Mbps, but not 1 Mbps...
it's tunngle causing the sponging not how many mbps people get. you join other american servers and are a huge "lagger" as well. but as said before, your rules.

I started playing with about 40kbps. Yes, you read that right. KBPS. My ping was extremely high and I was called a lagger for much of my early playing days. I could not play on Tunngle due to such slow Internet. Gladly, people played with me and knew I would have those lag spikes, and I became a good player (I think so).
I understand these are your rules, but the term "lagger" is overused. In fact, it is nearly impossible to purposely be a "lagger". The host has control of most to all of the lag. The rest is the player's fault. Because one player has bad ping does not impact the whole server as much as people like to think.

I doubt its root's inet. Also company is known by the low ping servers.
Possiby it can be tunngle, i dont say it doesnt have the fault of making players lag some times.

Completely right. I don't think once when we played the was any issue with lagging ruining the game. Well, I had an issue with my internet, but that is usual.
Also Kniescheibenzerschredderer, banning someone for a ping of 96 is stupid. I would pay 500+$ (and that's a lot for me) to have a ping like that.
I have talked with my german clan mate ACE, and he has 100 Mbps for about 50 €
In spain 15 Mbps are 20 €
Also, congratz for saying my name that well, i think ure one of the few people who calls me by my Knie name :)
So 15 Mb/s is 1.875MB/s. Mega means million. So That is 1,875,000 bytes a second. No small amount of data. In fact SWBF hardly uses any of that I'll bet.
With hosting (keyword here is hosting) 1 Mb/s is capable of happily hosting around ten players with capacity to spare. So if we take that and divide it by ten we get 100Kb/s being used by each client. SWBF isn't exactly using your 1.8MB/s capacity. Latency has more of an impact on lag than your Internet bandwidth does.
With sponging, well that I would put down to packet loss. You can have the best Internet connection in the world but with UDP packet loss happens and there is nothing to be done about it.
Finally remember lagging is a disadvantage not an advantage. It may seem like sponging is nice and all, but trust me when I say all the other disadvantages are absolutely terrible to game with.
Lag can be fun on SWBFII.. Jumping off the Arena rim, and flying for a good 60 seconds.. And suddenly jumping back to the spot you jumped off of. (You still get to steer and all that). Battlefront I usually just makes you keep walking in a certain directly uncontrollably.. It's fun to watch people walk in circles when they lag out though :P

I totally agree with SleepKiller,it seems that people in this game are the only from all games that thinks lag is good.The hit detection is really lower compared to those who dont lag or have a really lower ping.Most of you guys dont even know whats real lag :P

Mr. K a ping of 100 is quite low... You need to have some slack so people will WANT to go in your servers. I think you need to tolerate other people a little more. ;)
Well, i should have only had a private server ( {U.E.F}*-Only_ProS-* ) and a funwar server, but opened a public one. Feel lucky to have a public server by {U.E.F}

Anyder, it's been two years that this game is bringing less than 50 people online at the same time, and you want to ban one of them because he avoided death from you thanks to his ping. What else will you do to kill the community? What if an American player wants to play but the few people online are from Europe? Will he get banned and excluded just because he's not living in the same zone?
It is your server, we should be thankful for having somewhere to play, and it is normal that you set up rules. But you don't have the right to select who can or cannot play.

Anyder, please think about how you are hurting the community. Maybe make a second server with less rules for others to play in.
I was also thinking about joining UEF for SWBFII but with how you are acting forget it. I can imagine a lot of people will not join your clan because of how "ban happy" you are.

There is already a private server for only UEF'ers and clanfriends. Also, 1.0 is public to everybody, so is the Cell Games Trainig (I was asked to not ban anyone, as everybody has the right to train in that server.

Hmm... I can't say you are 100% wrong on this. The only thing I disagree on radar is the people who can only play with it on, and yet call themselves pro. If you are that good, you should be able to play with it on. I do not think radar has hurt the community, I think it has helped it grow more then it has hurt.

I do believe radar was before FC was a clan.
It wasn't public as much as it is now, but if I remember correctly, someone made it, and then they joined the WUSI clan. I think later it was re-discovered.

I saw the posts from when it came out, and how it was distributed by u right after. Anyway FC has done alot to keep swbf1 community alive, we don't want our favorite game to die.

you know hissil if we are taking credit where credit is due....i think it should be noted that it was because of my paranoia you even looked for a way to keep swbf alive...i went to you and it was listed ont he fc site before you edited it and it got frozen a while ago that you and me found it but you switched it to you and fordo i didnt specifically find tuungle but i set the forward motions into it being discovered kinda like....quigon jinn forcing the council to accept anakin as a jedi we all know how that ended

not true you were never involved with that, the lucasforum post was not edited as you can see, and you were never involved with discovering tunngle back in 2010 lol. fordo helped test it after i told him about it.
since this is nothing remotely related to the rules of UEF server, i'm locking this thread for now.
