I do not have to edit everything, double posting is against the rules with a few exceptions.

It doesn't matter that the "post had nothing to do with the other post from before," you are still expected to edit your post rather than waste space with a double post.
If for instance you wanted to show that what your adding to the post has no relation to what you've already written, most people write [EDIT] to show that it's not related.

It probably seems a bit convoluted, but that's how rules are.

Also, great episode guys!

no offense but i'm always confused by the religious opposition to double posting.

It's not religious, and we don't care if there is even half a reason.

It gets bad when there are huge signatures involved and you see 4 or 5 of the same persons signature and they just have something like a smiley or lol in the post, or some other not so remarkable comment.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet

Why did you put it in News rather than the Welcome Center or General? The news section seems like an odd place to put it, in my opinion.  ???

Welcome center is for you to say hi and introduce yourself, general is for talking about whether you prefer waffles or pancakes.  News is for me to post things related to the Website.

I can rename News to Forum Rules and News if that would help.

I will see if I can find the place where the email is at and put in a link to the forum rules.  edit:  I will need to see if I can get JedKiller to help me locate the emails.

In my opinion, it makes sense to have the rules in the Welcome Center, because that's (probably) where most people post first and go to first. (Welcome Center sounds inviting) Changing the name from "News" to "Forum Rules and News" may help because the word "rules" tends to catch peoples eye.

Sorry if I'm a bit nag-ish. In the long run, as long as this site "keeps on keepin' on" I'm happy. :)
