far cry blood dragon is on sale for $3.75 and they have various packaged deals you can only get during the sale.
The witcher one and two are going extremly low, 1.33 and 3.99 I beleive.

I highly recommend XCOM myself. If you're new to the game I would suggest just buying the base game for starters and then picking up the expansion after you've won a play through on it.

Is the witcher 2 any good? I impulse bought the witcher 1 and hated the click combat.

Has anyone bought and played Banished?

It looks just like Age of Empires, which are great games but the maps are too small for me.

So far I've been buying games that I already torrented and beat.... lol.

I got Witcher 2, Tomb Raider GOTY Edition. Also bought my friend HL2, Hitman: Absolution, and Bioshock Season Pass.

I'm debating whether I should get Sleeping Dogs as well.

So I'd recommend Papers, Please. I've played a couple hours of it and it's a nice indie game that's a good change of pace from most other games. It's pretty hard to describe why it's fun being a customs agent in a communist country, but it is. It will probably be 3 dollars again at some point later in the sale if you missed it earlier.

Papers Please is on sale for 5$ for the next 22 hours.

I was thinking about Arma3, but I have read some bad things about it from other players so...I am not sure lol

I have played swbf2, but IMO compared to swbf1 it is a step in the wrong direction.

I've spent ~90 dollars this steam sale. Almost all of that was just gifting to other people. :3

SWBF2 is 9 years old guys. Get a game that's not obsolete... like CS:GO. :P

Jamm,i have Arma 3 and for me the game is really good,i don't know what your friends said they didn't like about it but its fun, besides, there's a bunch of mods that fix many things within the game plus Arma supports the steam workshop that is full of new missions/game modes/ etc....I bought it with full price when it released so you shouldn't waste this opportunity...

You're on the sensible team.

I am moderately concerned about the money-burning-sale-mindset, but then I remember that it's not my problem.
