So.. evidently, I need a BFII CD to run the BFII Tools... but I play BFII on steam... can anyone help me out?

I almost never run BF2_Modtools.exe. It's pretty much a glorified shortcut. Instead I suggest going to BF2_ModToools\data\_BUILD and run Modtools VisualMunge.exe. It'll give you the exact same screen.

Yup. Just figured that out lol thanks man. To add sides, do  just copy the data folders from assets/sides to data()/sides ?

Just tell me if ur munge file works well whenever u munge it.

That is in the SIDE Folder u pick (all,imp,cis,...)
Go to the odf folder and then look for the default file (e.g. all_inf_default_wookiee)
And u'll see this
[Properties]
PointsToUnlock      = 12

Alright.

Is there a way to completely disable award weapons for all maps?

(STUPID QUESTION INCOMING) Are there squad commands like in BF1? (follow, hold, at ease, etc.)

Yes there are, though unfortunately they are limited to "Follow me" and "Move out" for infantry and "Hold Up", "Get In" and "Get Out" for vehicles.

I guess removing this from the odf should do that

WEAPONSECTION = 4
WeaponName     = "all_weap_award_pistol"
WeaponAmmo     = 6

WEAPONSECTION = 5
WeaponName     = "all_weap_award_rifle"
WeaponAmmo     = 6

But if u're gonna host, just disable awards

All of those commands are done with just one key, which I believe is one of the F# keys by default.

It cycles through them?
No, if you want someone to follow you, you press the key while looking at them. When they are following you, press the key again to tell them to move out. Do that to a friendly vehicle to make it stop. When inside a vehicle with extra seats press the key and all nearby friendlies will get in, press the key again and they'll get out.

Ohhh okay thank you! I tried for so long in 3 battles just now to figure that out :P thanks!
