Thanks guys, I've tried downloading those links, the do it yourself and the autoinstaller, but no luck.
Every one usually says that they are replacing the exe file in your LucasArts folder.
C:\ProgramFiles\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData
GameData
But mine is not in Program Files it's in ProgramFiles(86) steamapps common etc. Can i still get it to work in that folder or do i need to reinstall the game in regular Program Files?

Put it in your steam apps battlefront location. Keep it named something like SWBF2SWBFspy.exe or something like that. Make a shortcut for that exe and put it on your desktop.
When you want to play on SWBFspy, use the shortcut.
When you want to play on GameRanger, use the steam launcher for the original file.
