Hey, so Penguin said TcF isn't in ICW3.... This is what he said on xfire:

Um if no one also remembers our match earlier with Enten was suppose to happen. I understand tunngle was part of an issue so can we get that one rescheduled to Sunday with Enten?
Also after we waiting about 40-60 minutes apparently Penguin told us Tcf weren't in the ICW3
Although the only real complaints I have is not even having an admin being on and us having to bug Led for a server.
Idk what to really do because we were misinformed with TcF and were ready with everything. And I really would prefer just to have Egypt in 1.0 possession instead of making two battles to be rescheduled because we were very prepared for both matches and were disappointed to find out we could play neither of them due to Tunngle(just the first match), no admins(besides first sort of), no server host(till we bugged Led), and to find out  Tcf isn't even playing... So?

Everyone, I'm sorry for today. The first day is always the hardest, and today we had a few hard breaks that were out of our control. At the bottom I made a log of today's problems and have given the solutions.

TcF was signed up for the ICW3 (very enthusiastically) by Rick. Penguin has known this for several days. However it is true that Penguin told me he wasn't sure if the clan would continue to participate. (This was last weekend.) After that he never messaged me anywhere, and the last few days I haven't seen any TcF members on xfire. Therefore, I let the tournament proceed as though TcF were participating, to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Suffice it to say TcF is no longer in the tournament.

1.0 therefore wins the Egypt battle by default.

In addition, I am awarding Mygeeto to 1.0 and Rhen Var to Enten (the planet pairing was random). This is to compensate for the problems this afternoon, which were my fault.

If you guys still want to reschedule for sometime this weekend, I think it will work out.

Don't worry, something very similar to this happened at the beginning of the original ICW, and we pulled through it.



Problem: Servers not up on time.
Solution: I will give Buckler more notice in the future (in fact, today he was given no notice.)

Problem: Tunngle issues
Solution: Install Tunngle update

Problem: No admin
Solution: I definitely, and Shazam probably, will be online tomorrow. And Shazam will definitely be online Sunday.

Problem: TcF forfeits
Solution: No more TcF

If I missed any problems please tell me so they can be fixed.

About the match(es) yesterday: I think it's not okay to just reschedule matches. It's totally fine that the defending team can choose the server location, but if no one is able to host there the attacking team should be able to find a host aswell, na or eu. For our team it's pretty difficult to play on weekends and get enough people together, yesterday we had an EU server ready.
Alot of our players installed tunngle just for the tournament and if matches don't get played just because the prefered server location is not available it doesn't help getting more people to play, especially on friday/saturday evening.

note: some players have reported crashing on dagobah multiplayer. Hoth Caves was added as a backup map in case swamps is not playable.

Everyone who says it crashed has not followed the instructions properly, make sure the ICW3 folder goes in the _LVL_PC directly, not the SIDE folder.

maybe it is the way your game decodes the LUA, if something else works for you then I suggest others try it.
