SWBF1 Modding / Christmas mod/modmap competition?

HELLO THERE, lets deck the halls this year, with a jolly good modding competition

Rules

  • Deadline is Christmas.
  • You can team up.
  • Credit all helpers and assetmakers and such.
  • Competition starts NOW.
*edit: Yes it's christmas themed*
When deadline is up, all completed mods and modmaps will be compiled to one folder with credits to all that helped. @Unit33 Hey, do you think we could have a tag on the profile for this? That would be neat.
At the end of it all, we will have the whole community vote on the best mod and the best map.

SWBF1 Modding / Scaling models without edited MSH?

I want to scale the SuperBattleDroid up a bit, because his current size just doesn't quite fit what it is suppost to be.
Could I just edit the Cis_inf_sbdroid.msh.OPTION file
and type
-scale "2.0" and get him to change size?
His original OPTION FILE looks like this:
-lodgroup soldier -nocollision

I didn't see any models on the site, and I can't see gametoast.com
Does anyone know where I might find such a model in MSH format?   Or if there isn't (why wouldn't there be, its a 5 year old starwars game!?) is it possible to have one made.
Preferably the one Anikin used, and that lizzard dude "Subulba"

Well, I've had this problem before, and I've heard of a few others as well. So I found a fix!
THE PROB:
Okay so, sometimes, you cannot get objects in ZE to delete, even if you tell the whole Data(modid) folder to be un-read only.    So you get stuck with a world full of junk that you don't want.
THE FIX:
If you go inside your Data(modid) folder, and into Worlds folder, then (name of map) folder, then either World1, or World2 folder (depending on what you are editing),
then find the (mapname)_Buildings.LYR file.
Open it with NotePad, or some sort of text editor.
Scroll down to where you have this type of a first line:
Object("", "bes2_bldg_base", 1963669)
{
ChildRotation(1.000, 0.000, 0.000, 0.000);
ChildPosition(-179.000, -50.000, -132.000);
SeqNo(1963669);
Team(0);
NetworkId(-1);
Layer(2);
}


and if you want ALL the objects in that world DELETED FOR GOOD, select that first line, all the way to the bottum of the text/file. and Hit BackSpace or Delete.
Save the file (SAVE, not save AS, and make sure the file is not READ ONLY)

NOW, you are done, open the *.Wld file in ZERO EDITOR, and check it out. NO OBJECTS :D

This is a bit like notepad, I know you can open ODFs with alot of programs, but I spent alot of time making this (from "scrap") and I am really excited when my applications work out, so I'm posting it here, for your use.
It can find strings by clicking the Find button, open a file by the Open button (or F9),
F1 shows the game information (and credits).

Edit: If BFbuilder doesn't munge right, or has script errors, just reinstall BFbuilder (unsupported) SDK, and use ALL the patches found in the tutorials.   It fixed all my problems.

I know how much SWBFgamers has helped me in learning to mod, and all the support for all the mods I've ever made. This is where I was taught everything I know, Some people have said the mods I've made are "beast!" and its all thanks to You guys!!

How do I make the mod map read the sides that come with it?
I know its in the LUA files, but I don't know what else to do..
Any help appreciated!

I would go look, but I really don't have enough time to be going through a huge site looking for a needle in a hay stack, So does/has anyone ever had this specific Error on BFbuilder Pro, and is there a specific Fix for it?

Requests / Geonosis At Night?

Okay so imagine, Geonosis, Night time, a stary sky, a cold night (cause deserts are cold at night) so maybe some fog? And less noise (cause its night) like the wind noise, it needs to vanish! (mission.lvl could do the job)

Any takers?
Edit:: Oh and it could be online compatible or offline, I was thinking just a WLD edit, I could probably do the mission.lvl. But a modmap would work as well!

Story::
The republic got tired of the stupid lowzy scout trooper, so they exchanged him for a DeathStar Scout student.
So far it looks like the Republic likes this new student, he is more accurate, doesn't smart off to the clone commander, and is very knowledgeable of droid weak spots.

What do you think?
