Lucasfilm has been discussing with ABC entertainment about allowing them rights to make a Star Wars TV series. This could be a live action one, what would you guys thinks if this happened?
Well it's more Star Wars and less waiting so either way I'm up for it.

Seeing how all the Star Wars stuff as of late has been focusing on filling the gaps in the Original trilogy, I'd doubt we'd get a Clone Wars adaptation. While a live action series would be cool, it'd be rough competing with the already-in-existence animated one. Plus, I can't think of what they could do with a Clone Wars-era adaptation, other than producing a miniseries that creates the events that lead up to Episode III, without using the main heroes of Anakin or Obi-Wan. That is literally the one way I could see us getting a live-action Clone Wars adaptation.
Also, not going to have high hopes for this. The discussion of a live-action Star Wars series has been in talks for more than a decade, and came close to being produced, except the production costs killed it in the end. While it'd be nice for them to finally produce some live-action material, it won't surprise me if they pass on it again due to (again), production costs.
But, I keep forgetting ABC is owned by the giant mouse. So, while it could possibly happen, I don't want to set my hopes too high in the event it goes under and doesn't happen.

That would be good. But it's all original trilogy and "first order" stuff now which is kinda sad. I miss the clone wars.

I also doubt they'll do a live action Clone Wars show. Disney were the ones who originally canceled The Clone Wars and they've been cutting back on Clone Wars related products and merchandise ever since. I think they're trying to distance themselves from the prequels. I also remember that Lucasfilm was working on a TV show called Star Wars: Underworld at one point so maybe they'll adapt that.
Which makes me despise Disney more, the Clone Wars was an epic era!

In my opinion, Disney are alright. In a way, it's logical to move away from the Clone Wars. It'll be pretty hard to cover all three eras so I see why they would prefer to focus on Original Trilogy and their new First Order stuff. I don't mind though. There are LOTS of TV shows, comics, videos, games and other things based purely around the Clone Wars, there's lots to go back to.
But I can't say I wont miss the Clone Wars.
Does anyone else want to see a Boba Fett TV series or is it just me?
