Not really. And it's ilegal to distribute LucasFilm sounds in a mod or map sorry.

While that is indeed the case, you can always call sounds from the existing sound files in SWBF and I would think that you can also call sounds from SWBF2, assuming that a player has them (again, you can not distribute them).

Here is some information from PsychoFred's site about sounds that may be of use to you:

edit:  Sleepkiller, can you help me find the information about not being able to distribute sounds in mods--I know it says it somewhere...but I can't find it.  (ty!)

Thank You for your answers. Distribute sounds or fashion with the sounds from the Battlefront I do not plan to. Sounds from the Battlefront 2 I need to the voice acting for the characters and weapons from him. May there is a way to configure the playback sound from an audio file Battlefront 2 in the Battlefront 1 ? If it is possible, tell me what to use for this and how to configure odf ?

Thank you in Advance!

Funnily enough I was just thinking about recording lines for the Imperial Officer and make use of that English accent I have.

I still interested in it. If, for example, I want to use the sound voice swbf2 marksperson for bf-1, what exactly should I do ?

I have not had a chance to investigate this, but what I would try is to call the SWBF2 sound files just as the SWBF sound file are called.  I would look at the SWBF2 mission lua for examples.

(But be sure not to distribute the sound files, as per our previous discussions.)
