skin file is *.TGA (save with no compression); skins are not easy to interpret since they are all splayed out.

msh is the model file, not very easy to import into anything.  Get an example model from psychofreds website, and you can import it into XSI Modtools with the appropriate plug in.  See 3-D animation board for more details.

Hello)
tell me please, how to extract the skin from the mod (cards with the extension .lvl)
thank you very much)

This is the only tool I know of that may or may not work:

Once munged, it is not easy to unmunge.

Note that it is best to ask permission to use assets rather than unmunge and use them without permission.  Stock skins are already available, as are many assets here and on Gametoast.

1M+ clear text passwords.  Suggest if you used same PW/email combo that you change it if its not too late.

remember the old filefront?

Someone has been busy looking at old databases...my password for filefront has been compromised and emailed to me in an extortion attempt.

That was the only account I used with that password.

Thanks.  So that we get a critical mass of players, let's try Friday nights and Saturday afternoons (US Eastern time)

Excuse me, but the last one who made such a title was precisely someone who accused us of forcing to play on the AR servers, and it wasn't a good thing...

You were the last one that I saw that made a title name in poor taste.

This seems like baiting for a pointless conversation, but I will bite anyway.

I, for one, have never asked anyone to leave a server that they were playing in to join another server.

I have also refrained from going into other people servers to have pointless chats with them.

As I have always said, people are free to play in what ever server they want, and abide by the rules of that server.

People are free to host whatever server they want, with an expected level of decorum related to their server titles.

Hi all,

I don't host neither pay for any server in SWBF1, but I know how useless it is for the people who have to pay each month for a server where only 1 or 2 players join each week and don't get the most out of it either because some they prefer to start the game in another server or call others to fill such a server. I'm going to give you an example: it's as if I joined a crowded server and suddenly I invited a few (or directly everyone) to play on another server, and you're the server owner. It wouldn't bother you? Of course, but I would also think that it is "something unstoppable" because we cannot force people to join a specific server, we're many scattered IPs in one place on the Internet. :XD:

What seems nonsense to me is that there's people who don't assume the above phrase and prefer to go Plan B, which is nothing else than blaming the neighboring server because it always has the most players. What I come to say is... Everyone is free to play wherever, whenever and however they want, and although it may seem incredible to some, you cannot force anyone to play on a specific server, but you should not target to someone who's hosting a server and invites others to 'play' and 'have fun'.

And this isn't a matter of forcing, it's a matter of coexistence between groups of people, which has already been somewhat reduced by this nonsense.

Forum News and Forum Rules / Game Nights and 15 year celebration of SWBF

Hi--this is Buckler aka Led from www.SWBFgamers.com

You are receiving this email since you are registered at our website and have elected to receive the occasional email.

Star Wars: Battlefront is celebrating 15 years of gaming in December this year.

I wanted to make you aware of some new developments for the original Star Wars: Battlefront (SWBF) and Star Wars Battlefront II (SWBF2) for the PC and PS2 player communities.

We host games for the PC and PS2 community of SWBF and SWBF2 players.  (For more information about the PS2 community, see:  www.theswbfc.com )

Gamespy no longer works, but we have a replacement master server called GameMaster that is has the exact same functionality as Gamespy.  Our version of Gamemaster is called SWBFspy.com.  With a simple file replacement, we are playing SWBF and SWBF2 (non-GoG) online again.

The patch and installation instructions are available at www.SWBFgamers.com right here at this link:
http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=13356.0

We miss the old days when a lot of people filled the SWBF servers.  We invite you to find your old game disk or purchase on Steam, patch SWBF and SWBF2 for new online play and join us each Friday evening and Saturday afternoon (US - Eastern time) to play, and culminating for a weekend of gaming on December 7th to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of this great game.

If you need the game, you can buy a set of SWBF disks through ebay, or it is now available through Steam and GoG (multiplayer patch required).

If you just like single player, you will be amazed at some of the new mod maps available--particularly those created by Sereja in our downloads section:
https://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?action=downloads;cat=25

We hope to see you on the front.

All the best,
Led
