One cause of sliding units is if you changed the unit speed.  There may be other causes, idk.

SWBF and SWBF2 mods are (usually) not exe files.  They are game specific LVL files that are usually compressed in .zip or .Z file format.  If you get one, uncompress it, and don't see any *.bat, *.com, or *.exe files, there should be no problem at all.

You can always run a virus scan after you download it as well.

Hey it's the fuzz!

There are a few of us die-hards left, but Thomas, Hurtzjet, and Frenchie are not around, although they may have an account here.

PC servers are admittedly pretty dead--but we also host for PS2, and those guys are keeping it going.

We can still host servers with a drop-in exe replacement and our service.  We have the best modders in the world on our site, including some extremely well done maps by Sereja that you can check out here:;cat=25

I've seen Skullz in the new Battlefront 2 but he does not play this one any more.

A few players have taken to Planetside 2 which has tons of activity right now.

Perhaps you also need an ODF (object definition file), a req file, and collision.

A good way to check what you might need is to look at a stock map, find an object, and then look through the files for the other required information.

For example, here is a fountain in cloud city:
