You can use ALT+TAB to get out of the game window while it is in windowed mode and run another application.  Then click on the game window to go back to your game.

1.2 update requires the game be installed at its know location.  You can always copy that installation.  You may have to use regedit to point it to the correct new location.

I don't know why your resolution changer is not working.  I know you have seen my video.  It should  really just work the same way.

The resolution changer is not automated.  The SWBFspy patch can be installed manually.

I can't say for sure why the resolution changer is not working correctly for you.  I think it is not set up correctly.  Also note that your vidmode.ini file maybe have been dumped into USER/APPDATA and so forth.

Make sure the TGA file has been save with RLE Compression turned off.

The is the most common mistake when dealing with the files.

It would be easier to change the name of the tga file to what is used in the msh file.

res changer is for swbf1.   Is that what you have?

By this you mean the map editor?  I have not seen one. However, there are some fixes to the originally released one.

There were just a couple of us copied on the email, but it basically just said they are trying to fix the issues and get the stuff they need (i.e. GoG needs) to make dedicated server software and that they may try to contact us to gather enough people for a test.

I know everyone is starved for information and everyone would like a lot of things, but that's all it said and there has been no follow up yet by GoG.

Sereja,Can I port this map to SWBF2?,I know you and more people prefer SWBF1 over SWBF2, but we should not argue about it.Anyone have their reasons to prefer a game over the other one.

Sereja has stated in the past that SWBF2 can't do the things that SWBF1 does.  He usually releases his assets.  If he has, you are welcome to try and port it.

Unfortunately I can't find a cheap copy on Amazon, the cheapest is $20. Would used copy be acceptable? Would it be possible to play online with swbfspy if the cdkey is generated? I ask because if the copy is used then surely it wouldn't work for me?

SWBFspy does not check CD keys.  However, you will need a key for installation.

I took a quick look at the SWBF2 tools license and it's identical, so this one could do with being in both SWBF an SWBF2 boards.

Thanks, I suggest you copy it and post it, that way the proper attribution is easily seen.
